  1. I once witnessed while fishing in a stream, a sucker caught by two different anglers on opposite sides of the creek. They both reeled in and the fish was hanging mid-stream over the water. WEIRD and wish I had a camera back then.
  2. But if enough people complain you should pass that on to your bosses so this practice stops. Otherwise it will only get worse, if that is all possible.
  3. An old touch up paint trick is to spray a small amount of paint into the can's cap. Then tear off a paper match and use the torn off end as your paint brush. You're done without any clean up required and it works great to boot.
  4. So it shrunk over time.....LOL As other said, don't remove the console, just work around it by lifting it up enough and maybe plan your floor plan to be cut so you can easily put that piece under it. The floor doesn't have to be exactly like the original because once you cover it with carpet no one knows anyways. To get rounded / contoured cuts right, get some larger pieces of flat cardboard and trim to fit nicely. Then use that to transfer to your plywood floor, it beats re-cutting plywood several times. Now 'Get R Done'
  5. I, in return ask them to donate to the "Tim & Will Fund" and they don't so we're even Steven. BTW the "Tim & Will" fund was the fund I used to raise and educate my 2 sons and I was the only one who ever put money in that fund..........so Walmart should follow my lead.
  6. When rings are your only option you can put the dock lead through the ring and back to the boat cleat, thus giving you twice as much holding power.
  7. Now there you go again, using logic when there's no need for it.........
  8. Actually the OP asked about both types of batteries and the discussion went back and forth about both types of batteries and that is why I wanted to clarify to the OP that not all 12v batteries are the same. And the reason I do get far more years out of my starting battery and my dedicated deep cycle batteries is because of my on-board smart charging system and that's the reason I suggest using a on-board charger whenever the boat is not fishing. Since I have had a on-board charger (more then 15 years) I no longer take out my batteries during winter storage, just keep the boat "plugged in". But you are correct that you shouldn't need a charge on the starter battery every time out because you main motor "should" take care of that. However, that depends on how far you travel from spot to the trailer/dock. In my case I run 1-2 miles back to my trailer but while anchored for perch I run a livewell on a auto timer, two HDS graphs plus a stereo and VHF radio. All that can put a strain on your starting battery. But when I return home I just "plug in" the boat and forget about it. " ProMariner, sequential multistage charging gives you the peace of mind that your batteries are being charged, conditioned and maintained, so they are ready when you are".
  9. As in Ontario and Kali there is a huge difference between licenses sold and how many are fishing (think illegally).
  10. Kalifornia is better known as the state with the most fruits and nuts.....nanny state....Ontario is not that far behind BTW. Ever notice on some packaging that it says's Kalifornia has determined this product can be cancer causing.......just another reason not to go to that state because everywhere else that product is safe to use.....LOL
  11. Not quite true. There are deep cycle batteries, starting batteries and dual purpose batteries. But as already mentioned, make sure whatever you decide on is a "Marine Battery". For a starting battery that also runs everything but my TM I use and have had very good luck (9 years) with a dual purpose battery. Proper care and maintenance of your batteries will extend their life beyond what most get out of their batteries, and that means using a on-board smart charging system whenever not fishing.
  12. The Best Power Washer is the one you borrow from your neighbor. Just make sure he tops off the tanks with expensive gasoline and soap. And it's always best to use his water too.
  13. DITTO.....use them all the time when the boat is docked over night. Pull them off, shake them off and roll them up. DONE.........Fish ! ! !
  14. Not knowing when to quit and head back to shore.
  15. Many many vehicles are available with steel rims.
  16. Looks like you were busier then a 2 peckered billy goat......nice job. Now go catch a fish
  17. Can you imagine how much they would go for if the walleye fishing was decent.
  18. Good idea for a canoe but for not a big ass bass boat. I don't think I will ever see it power my vessel.
  19. Responsible, you want people to be responsible for themselves......good idea but that was declared not PC years ago.
