I agree with Bernie..........I'm not going on any of the Great Lakes with a 10+ year old battery......a car / truck is different. Why don't you at least buy one STARTING battery of the big motor and save the extra battery for your trolling motor..........either keep switching it our or use 2 batteries for the TM.
-
Keep cooking, you're doing a great job..........................just a misunderstanding.

What 'signals' the true beginning of spring?

The first boat launch of the year means SPRING is finally here for "me". -
You might be too young to remember when only non-residents need a fishing license and the fishing was much better. If you only remember one thing in life, it's the more money you give to the government the less you get in return.

I hear ya brother...........my bride is the same, she ALWAYS encourages me to get what I want/looking at while I have a hard time justifying buy it......and that include my new boat I just ordered last week.
-
Don't make those accusations because you really don't know all the CORRECT info........as someone here early mentioned, there a good and bads with both health care systems. But to spread false hearsay info is only making matters worse.

The BEST roast beef sandwiches I have ever had was in Buffalo, NY called Beef on Weck ! ! ! Trust me these pics are not a real Beef on Wech because it should have twice the amount of beef on that roll.........and they area always served with horseradish......I believe most times it MILLER Horseradish. wikipedia.org/wiki/Beef_on_weck

You should use 5-10-5 fertilizer in that garden.......especially if you skip the manure....skipping the manure will also keep the weeds down as there is a lot of weed seed in there. I only use 5-10-5 myself.

LOL......I like your thinking

After doing this for MANY MANY years I have never uprooted a veggie plant while doing this. I was just trying to help the lad with time old proven tips from my dad but for some reason you seem to target everything I post.
-
Another dear old dad gardening tip.........the best time to weed your garden is right after a good rain. They come right out with no effort at all. But watch out for all those carrots you just planted
-
One trick my dad taught many years ago was to plant whatever you want but once they start coming up plant carrot seeds in between where you normally would have weed growth. This way that area is taken up with edible carrots instead of pesty weeds. BTW those carrots will store very well in the ground up until the ground freezes so even when everything else has been pulled at the end of the year those carrots should be left in until you need them.

Who would of thought........but it is a tough crowd here. A business comes into Canada for the first time and builds / leases building putting people to work. Once the doors open they put many more people to work. Now I realize most are part time positions but not all and even the part timers are grateful they now have that job. Then for whatever reason they can't make money and MUST liquidate in Canada because they have stock holders to answer to just like any other business. And now so many are glad they closed and can't wait to kick them out of the country. With that attitude how many more companies do you think will take the gamble to set up shop in Canada ? I was never a huge fan of Target and can probably count the times there on one hand but I don't wish them or their employees ill will. Target is a retail store, don't take it so personal.

I'm sorry if your offended by my response, but I thought you would know better and you do that we all pay either now or later. That was my point. Some of our younger anglers here I don't think understand that. Some think, it's free because the government gave you something. If those anglers could only go back 20-30 years and see things haven't gotten better, but they sure have gotten more expensive.

My wifes second cousin's girl friends father (ya I have no idea who he is) can get me Round Up from the states.........haven't need it in the last 2-3 years but that shiat gets the job done....but it takes about 2 weeks before it actually kills all those NASTY weeds and trust it WILL kill them. Then slowly rake and add topsoil if it's easier....reseed and from now on us FERTILIZER and WATER the piss out of new grass when it's growing.....and even more once you have a established lawn. For those who don't water or use fertilizer, I would LOVE to actually compare your lawn to mine. Do you think those beautiful golf course are left to fend for themselves or do you think they water & fertilizer the piss out them ? ? ? My lawn doesn't look like a golf course green, but it's damn close.

YOU didn't pay nothing at the time..........YOU have paid into the system right along......your smart enough to know YOU don't get anything for free.

Buy a lottery ticket because it was your lucky day she didn't hit you and then stop for a shot and a beer because you just won the lottery of living. Anything after that is icing on the cake.

Horseradish Steak Sauce Horseradish and beef are great together, and this steakhouse sauce recipe could not be easier. Be sure to use a FRESH jar of horseradish so that this classic cold sauce will have that signature kick. Makes 1 cup of Steakhouse Horseradish Sauce Prep Time 5 minutes INGREDIENTS: 2/3 cup of sour cream ¼ cup of Mayo 1tsp Dijon mustard 2 tbsp prepared hot horseradish, or to taste 1 tbsp chopped chives Salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste Preparation: Combine all ingredients and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour to blend the flavors. Serve chilled.

Boats get stolen out of barns and then returned without the police finding it....that is what is going on a lot lately ? ? ? I was born at night but it wasn't last night ! ! ! In my first post in your first thread, go back and read it........I said this is a inside job because how did someone know there was a boat in there to steal, yet return it a week later.
