It's beautiful up there that's why I'm moving up there in 3 weeks. Maybe I'll see you around neighbour. -
Port Severn / Waubaushene Area Boat Launch
LostAnotherOne replied to petersaban's topic in General Discussion
There’s a launch at Port Severn beach and park. It’s right off the 400 across from the church. You may have to get a second mortgage cause it’s pretty expensive. Gold coloured Williams Wobbler will get you on the dink pike. I would focus on the north end near the mouth of Glochester Pool to get on some bigger ones. Good luck -
Musky fishing does a toll on your body after years of casting large baits. My hands are not like they used to be.

If you’re good with spending lots of money, time, and tears chasing these behemoths then all the best to you. I still curse that big musky that followed my lure to the boat when I was a teenager.

Get your double double on Scugog this weekend.

Nice report Glen. Multiple muskie days are always nice.

We just got 2 puppies a few months ago. Here is Nash just after falling into the water. I hope he learned his lesson. -

Been using the one I got free from riding Maid of the Mist a few years back. Still in good condition. -
How'd everyone enjoy the Odyssey yesterday?

Didn’t go. Went to the Ancaster Tackle Swap instead. Next year I’ll check it out depending on where it is. First time for me being back since pre Covid. Made a few trades. Most of the guys were just trying to get rid of their stuff not bring more on. Only spent $15, but could have spent much more. I think I walked out of there high as the inside had that skunk smell going on lol. -
I don’t have time unfortunately but I’ve been donating $10/mt to 3 charities for a couple of years now. It’s good for everyone to give back to something they support.

Too funny with the tent. I went through the same thing Saturday. Wife holding onto the tent while I did my best to break it down. Ya we didn’t talk much until we got back to the truck lol. Luckily nothing broke. Thanks for the report.

Not sure if this helps but I just throw my one pieces inside the my ram in the middle. I have the tip of the rod at the front dash resting on a small blanket so the rod guides don’t scratch anything. Good luck on your trip.

Just wondering what are some things you do when it comes to preparing your boat for winter storage? Personally I bring my boat into the shop in December and get them to do there thing and just recently learned on a recent post to lift my trailer off the ground with a couple of axle stands. Any info guys would be great. Thanks

This game should be going to game 3. That was the luckiest hit I seen when springer and bo collided. Well there’s always next year lol.

I always keep an eye out for them at the tackle swaps. My avatar was caught on a 6” deep diving perch one.

Thanks for sharing

I purchased a new 20hp manual start Yamaha last year and I regret not spending the extra for the electric.

Portage Dock Etiquette (who's the idiot?)
LostAnotherOne replied to Sterling's topic in General Discussion
So one question guys. You drive up to a launch and no one is there. Do you drive off to the side and load your boat up or do you back your boat up right to the launch and load your boat up there? -
We are coming upon our second year camping off the grid and we are still learning as we go. Just purchased a new Yeti cooler ($400) to keep our meats cold for the week. If you like fires bring a saw or bring your own wood with a tarp. I like using disposable plates and bowls. You'll probably forget some things like most people. Disposable wipes is an important one too. Have fun and good luck Glen.

I get it all the time. The worst is when they ask for measurements of whatever I’m selling. I send them the measurements then hear nothing back. I don’t bother anymore.
