I dunno how much a record fish would bring in Wayne... I have herd tho that in the past that some various stores, mueseums, ect... offer a good dollar for the privilledge of having an original or replica mount in their display....

well even tho I have managed to allready have nearly all of my 2008 fishing gear budget accounted for... I am looking ahead to a purchase I will probably be making this time next year... I would like to get a GPS/Sonar combo for the boat currently I have a Garmin E-Trex Legend CX handheld & a Eagle Fishmark sonar - both are performing well for me, but I feel that due to my style of fishing a nice dual unit will bennefit me much more. I would like to keep the Garmin handheld tho for various reasons, so I would like to have a GPS/Sonar unit that will also support maps forGarmin handheld So I am currently considering a Garmin combo unit, however just about all my partners have Lowrances & I am not too familar with the Garmins.... also I am not sure if there is good legal map software that is compatible with both Lowrance & Garmin units. I would like to be able to store & transfer tracks/waypoints between both units.... so does anyone have any suggestions/ideas that could help me out? Like I said, Ive got about a year or so to "shop around" thanks in advance...

does anyone remember or have a photo of that jumbo perch that Dip Lip flilleted up at Lakir in '06? Cant describe how he did it, but sure was different I have an electric knife - used to hate cleaning the 9-10" perch, now its sooo quick & easy

as of now, its a solid 9 outta 10 have been out almost every week of the year so far, very few skunks a coupla PBs some success with new spots & new techniques only some minor gear/equipment failures introduced a few "newbies" to the sport and have gotten out with many other friends cant wait for 08, but still have 2 months to finnish 07 on a strong high note....

I too would possibly be able to make it - 20 minutes from home for me... Saturdays are usually better for me...

Lowrance makes an excellent fixed model with all the features any angler would need LB's lists them at $120 - ask your local shop to match that price - mine did

Where would you live if you could live anywhere

what Rick said - I too am happy in Niagara - 2 great lakes and the Niagara river -
I hope that the project will be a success. Personally, I think Simcoe as a Lake was doing quite well without muskie and that there are already many healthy waterbodies with good muskie populations surrounding Simcoe. I just think that the man hours, $$$ & fundraising efforts could probably have been put towards something else that might be a little more important/neccessary/significant then this. Once again I do hope it works & that the time money &efforts will not have gone to waste.

confidence definetly a must to have for all species good on ya for finally getting that boat slimey there Wayne

hey Mo almost 3 years to the date I had mine done. Lasik MD in Niagara Falls. My procedure was a little different as I had a stigmatism, but it has been a positive experience thus far, no night vision problems at all either. Same story for my father (mid 50's) as well

almost allways rod holders (Down Easters) 2 exceptions though.... a) I am finesses trolling and need to feel my bait regularly making bottom contact, as wel as the soft pick up of a fish I will do some musky trolling with the rod in my hand generally if I am fishing less then 15 FOW & weeds are present, depending on the pull of the bait - it helps to feel when I pick up the green stuff and you really cant beat feeling the strike in your hands as opposed to "watching" it!
-
two spots i can think of... Buckhorn General store & just down the road on the other side of the locks, there is a small Ma & Pop bait shop near 3 Castles...

sometimes when I see the "support our troops" ribbon stickers on vehicles, I sometimes think that I am seeing Spindoctors

I think of you, Rebecca & that day often Gerritt that was the 1st day that I logged on to the OFC board to have a little look around. I then realized that this site was a little bit deeper then "just a fishing board". It also reminds me of how nearly 3 1/2 yrs ago, that my family lost or only daughter/sister at the age of 17 in a trgic auto-accident. Many of us here have lost some family memebers earlier then planned & feel the same pain. I'll be thinking of you tommorow bud.
