right on! i was out for a coupla hrs this morning solo went 4/4 with a brown, laker, 2 kings I havent had a solo double header yet........

some of you need to fish year round - Cabin fever is a killer around here Lew & Misfish your both right many "old regulars" dont post here as much because there is only sooo much time alotted for the computer each day, gonna make the most use out if it as you can - partly why I am not as active i guess as i may have been in the past.... not trying to shake the ship here Roy, but I do believe that once the fish are smoked, they are considered to be preserved/cooked - no longer count against your possession limit - I very well could be wrong, but I have herd this from a few others before kinda like those who can/pickle fish for personal use over the winter ect....

found this on the "spoonpullers website" dont think it has been posted here yet The ministry released 50k Lake Trout of the 11th pier at 3:00 p.m. They were hugging the shoreline well into the night. Needless to say the pier was packed with smelters. There must have been 60 cars parked, 6 generators, and every inch of per taken. The MNR made one trip to the pier at night to check buckets. Later in the night the Township of Oro was controlling traffic and warning everyone not to keep the Trout. Have you ever heard anything so stupid! " kind of a similar thing happened localy here this week, me & my partner were pulling the boat out at the ramp on Sat night & I commented on how many big minnows were in tight, upon further review theye were freshly stocked rainbows & salmon those netting bait or smelt in the coming weeks please take caution, as its stocking season

thanks for the updates not sure if 'ill be able to get up to my trailer there before June but hopefully my late spring pattern will still be "on"

Only dealt with West Marine once, but it was a good experience had the Buffalo store match & beat a competitors price AND order the Lowrance in for me since it was one they didnt carry in stock. I'll shop there again.

as a 10 year old, I would be there each week using my allowance/paper route money to buy hooks & worms, been a loyal customer for many years very nice genuine guy - allways donating to various events/causes - he had just set his shop up in a bigger spot almost a year ago sincere condolences to Angela, Elizabeth & family Pete will sure be missed & remembered by many

mmmmm frsh cats or bullheads from cool spring water - real good never had silver bass myself, have herd they are quite good as well

missing this years too - had a great time last year though want to try some newer waters this season & some cuts had to be made to accomodate
