I would offer him exactly what he said he paid for it... mind you I have not seen what the "book" value is on this particular vehicle... Perhaps the OP should look it up to see what it is worth... Sounds like either a control issue or trust issue is at play here... I feel for you're buddy... I just got out of a 2 year relationship with someone that tried to control my every move.. Fishing was at the best of time difficult. There was always some reason as to why she did not want me to go etc.. and going out with budddies was out of the question! She had major separation issues.. Anyways.. I finally had enough (3 weeks ago) and am currently residing in a god aweful basement apartment, until Feb 1st when I move back into my House (had to give the people I rented it too notice) and have never been happier. (Except for the daily calls from her looking for yet another argument...) Anyways... I did not want this to turn into a post about me.. but rather say it sounds alot like what I went through.. G

Due to certain life changes.. I am in need of a break and get-a-way time.. (yah yah... single again.. FINALLY!) I am not looking to party, I just need to de-stress. Looking to do a four day trip somewhere up north. Just to get away... here are a couple of things I am looking for. Nice cabin Ice fishing (of course) Skidoo rental for the duration of the four days. ( I have my own sled.. but dont trust it) Access to trails A warm and relaxing atmosphere For myself... and possibly one other... If anyone has any suggestions I am all ears! Thanks in advance folks. I wont get into details... but I will not shop there anymore. Due to almost the same reason as you... I like to shop local, and support local businesses but if they are not willing to sell to locals without attitude and be competitive to the rest of the market then why should I even bother. On a side note because of fishing world's piss poor pricing and inconsiderate/rude employees I was pointed into the direction of Jos @ Angling Outfitters. A more customer centric business owner you will not find, and very price conscious as well... he will even beat US prices to secure you're business. If I can make a suggestion... Give Jos a try. Thanks man!... yeah one of those trucks is mine! Look for the Ford E350 with the huge bubble on it! (Unicell body) I work several different sites at any given time, but if you see the truck by all means ask for me! I will be there, and coffee is close by... as is adult entertainment! LOL G.

I was wondering if anyone would notice the chisels I put them there on purpose (they were not used) to see if anyone would notice as I had them in my box beside me. Nice catch.. They are very far from cheap, but one of the best chisels I have ever owned, I am a firm believer that good hand tools will last for life... where electrics are disposable. As for LVL's, paralams etc.... they were not spec'd .. need to remember... this is an old space... and before the fire, solid fir was used 12x18... not to mention, LVL's would weigh/cost alot more given the same dimensions, and big and bulky is what they are looking for... very rustic... and all exposed... and the fir at the end of the day cost less...averaging about 15.00 lnf, based on volume. not to mention the cost savings in adding a veneer (labour) Good eye on tools.... I should show off my hand planes I have an apron plane you would give you're left to use lol G
