  1. Gorgeous eyes there....and the muskies aren't too shabby either! How do you guys fish live bait for them?
  2. x3 on the starshot....all the pics are great....some really nice walleye....MAN I wanna get up there!
  3. Wow those are some insane pics! The daytime moon with the eagle is just stunning....love the bear....pretty sure that yes, it's a golden eagle...and man oh man do you guys ever know how to spend a couple weeks. Well done....some nice fish too Thanks for putting it all up for us to enjoy
  4. Well done Bass Man
  5. DUUUUUUUUDE!!! Awesome report!!! Way to go Talk about a confidence booster....those imaginary brookies don't stand a chance!!
  6. Congrats, and condolences. Beautiful fish....hopefully the boost you needed
  7. Nice brookies! Great scenery shots too
  8. Doesn't sound like this story will have a happy ending....but here's hoping. Good idea on the rope, Wayne...
  9. Great report -- fine young fisherman there
  10. If you could get it on the roof of your cobalt, why can't you get it on the roof of your Patriot? I have one, and they're not THAT big....I know yours sits an inch higher than mine, because I have an '08....but you can find roofracks for it fairly easily. I got a used pair that were a few months old for $50, and they're the mopar version. Failing that, a couple 2x4s strapped down to the handy tie-down spots on your roof rails should work....they did for me before I had the roof racks....and I popped 2 canoes on the roof with'em.
  11. keep your head up....do your chores....soon you'll be on the water instead of online like me
  12. Wow, that is sad. They have to rebuild...hopefully they do.
  13. Based on what I've read on another, more hunting oriented forum, Canadian Tire just started carrying firearms (again). Not sure if they're at every location
  14. As someone mentioned in Cudz's thread, it's not fishing that's the problem, it's addicting that's the problem. Many of us...well some of us...okay at least ME would say your crazy for thinking that anything's wrong with the way you've enjoyed the summer with your wife. On the one hand, you have a point about not keeping up with the chores...on the other hand, you've both been doing something you enjoy and best of all, doing it together!!! I will settle for moderation. It's all about BALANCE.
  15. Gee, you really got a soft spot for this kid, eh? I can see why...love these reports
  16. Apparently the suspect's mother (grandmother?) has gone on tv pleading with him to turn himself in. I haven't followed enough of the story to understand why this guy is a suspect....but I really hope that kid gets found safe and sound.
  17. seems like it's connected to the same line...when fish hit, you could see the camera moving....
  18. Beautiful shots.....nice fish too! I need to get up there
  19. How deep is your rig getting when you're trolling, Dana? Maybe throw a bit of weight in front of the spoon....clip on a 3 way swivel where yo uare adding in the line the spoon is on...and tack on some weight to hang down from the 3rd ring. As for spinners....yes they work! Small Panther Martin's would get my vote. Just curious, have you talked to Jim, at Gramp's? He is a great guy to talk about this stuff with
  20. I love it! Pretty sure the lakers follow suit....I can follow my flasher on the lowrance, and have seen many many arches come up and follow it for a while then disappear....exciting and painful to watch all that action while your rod doesn't even budge! Would love to have the camera setup....very slick!
  21. FishLogic beat me to it....go nuts
  22. Yup...keep it simple. Take Roy's advice. Watch your lure in the water before you let all your line out....that way you can set your speed to get the optimum action, and you will have a visual of what it's doing.....I find that helps. As for snow and ice coming....get ready! Lots of action under the ice to be had
  23. That sucker can really pucker! So can the fish
  24. Awesome report, Frankie....another Chapleu convert
  25. Was working for a lawn-care outfit, listening to the radio as I went from house to house. Heard the first report when they thought it was an accident.....then the confusion as it became apparent what was really happening. Spent the day working fast and driving slow so I could listen to the radio....the 2 things I remember most: Seeing no planes in th sky, and wanting to simply get home and be with my family.
