  1. Does anyone have any plans for side planer boards that are relatively easy to make? I priced them today and was surprised at the cost. $35 and up. I figure 8" of pine, some machining and paint is a lot less expensive. I could be wrong though...
  2. Well, here it is, John Deere is built by a dedicated name brand factory, while the Craftsman are built by the lowest bidder. That being said, JD has gone down in quality IMHO lately. If you can afford it go to the Professional series. PS: I bleed green.....

  13. In the same line as JohnF, perhaps some segments on different reel types, how to pitch, or how to flip, how to use a very long rod as opposed to a shorter one. When to use a paticular rod for a paticular application, and so on. Or to put it another way, more tips. I am unable to get your show as it is not on network TV so this is the only way that I am able to be entertained and educated by yourself. Thanks for what you do.
  14. I would suggest free, UNSTRUCTURED time to be a kid and goof off. But, for music, the Hamilton Childrens Chior is a fantastic training ground.
  15. I would think Sat afternoon and evening would be the best bang for your buck.
  16. I have a helly hansen two piece suit that I bought on the east coast. Darn near indistructable and I use it at work as well.
  17. So what type of flavour wil that give the meat? I have had your cooking; so I know that you have all the seasoning tricks and skills required to make anything taste very good.
  18. I have one of each, and love em both!
  19. So, it is raining out your way? A good time to pontificate. Thanks for the read. As for a response, yes our carefully chosen and cared about tackle will be considered antiques and curious. I just inherited my dads tackle box two weeks ago and transferred all of his lures and hooks into my bag. I have stored his rods away to use with my future grandchildren hopefully.
  20. Unless you are a very experienced (good) canoeist, I would suggest that it is the wrong watercraft for the area. That being said, I would suggest using a medium to large minnow bait, or real minnows. Look for points, rocks, and other underwater structure to cast around. Take lots of pics, and be safe!
  21. Leafs lost my support after this Ballsile fiasco.
  22. Heres a wild and crazy idea....spray on pickup truck bed liner.
  23. The other option I have is to say that if the boat is not gone by such and such a date.....it's mine.
  24. I have land that is reasonably secure, and would like to use it as a storage area. What is a reasonable amount to charge for a period from Oct 15 - April 15?
