  2. No problem, mon. She should not have a problem at all.
  3. I truly enjoyed being your net man today *sigh* and photographer and ......*sobs* But I most enjoyed the time on the water and I learned that there are actually other places to fish rather than the grand between erie and the dam. If ever you would like a repeat performance, just call.
  4. Gasp! A VERTICAL hold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. I do minor and major renovations to homes and busineses.
  6. And the most amazing thing is that we were able to do a MAJOR renovation to our house together without any problem. I built it she told me how. The home we live in currently was a cat house fomerly. (4 legged type) When we took over the house we were ankle deep in used cat food....
  7. Tomorrow my wife and I, (well I), celebrate our 20'th anniversary. She will probably spend the day rueing the fact that she saddled herself with such a creature as I, while I will be astounded that she has been able to tolerate me for so long. She is an amazing woman, as anyone who has ever met her can attest to. The worst is, business has been so slow, I can't even get a good steak for the BBQ.
  8. I had no intention of trying to recover it, but it got me wondering.
  9. What is the law for recovering a boat that has gone ashore. I saw a 20+footer on the shore of Lake Erie today that had a boat nearby that was obviously watching it. There is no doubt that this was a wreck, the whole boat was up on shore and not at all able to navigate under its own power. Can I walking on shore lay claim to the vessel by going on board and recovering it? This is not a moral question, but rather a legal one.
  10. I put my inflatable on at the same time as I put the plug in the boat. It doesn't come off until I cinch down the stern.
  11. Why not use a piece of 2 x 4 glued on with PL Premium. Not as pretty but it works....
  12. Ask Speil, Garry don't know nutin about rods.......or fishin. We ARE gettin together next week right? Please????
  13. Your second question is well answered already. Boat listing is when the boat leans to one side or the other, due to weight distribution or other reasons.
  14. Have chainsaw, will travel.
  15. As the mastercard ad says............PRICELESS!!!!!!!
  16. The repair went very well, thanks! Cliff is a good man. If I had a wireless bowmount it would be better than the footpedal, however I have to plead poverty and as my mother used to sy, "Sometimes, you just have to row with the oars you got".
  17. I pray the docs hands are guided and the surgery is succesful. Keep your chin up!

  19. As Blaque says, it works quite well, and is a lot easier on the wallet too. Also if you are trolling for pickeral one wants to go slow, right?
  20. I was taught a new trolling method this weekend. Instead of steering with the electric, simply leave the electric stationary and steer with the tiller, using it as a rudder. I was very happy to learn this as I was having just the worst time trying to steer with the bowmount. If this just basic stuff to you, are there any other methods of boat control that we inexperiened boaters can learn from you?

  23. Well, before I became a carpenter I dabbled in the flower industry. When I was married, my wife carried one of my designs. **Did you offer 'him' the $100 and a ladder? Congratulations** No, but I am planning on getting him a shotgun.
  24. Well, tonight my oldest daughter came home with a new piece of jewlery on her left hand...........an engagement ring! The man she is going to marry has already passed muster, and he was the type to ask me first, which is a good thing. She asked me to do her wedding bouquet, that made me cry even more. It is hard to give up your first born daughter, but he makes her happy and that is what counts.
