Buddy caught a 11" Blue Perch out of the Nip last year, ended up on the porcelain wall the next day.

By Rattling, do you mean vibrating? Are you making this for fishing or for your wife?
-
Sorry to hear that. Best of luck in your future endeavors

I'm surprised no one has mentioned P-Line Halo... This is truly the best floro meant to be used on the entire spool. I use it on my ultra light rig for Trout/Panfish (4 LB test) and have landed a 15 lb carp on it, and was able to horse him in. Hold knots great, has super low memory, and is truly a tough floro line. 250 yards usually runs $18-$20, but it is worth it, check it out.

What was the car/truck? Everyone is in business to make money, that's why you are in business in the first place. If I sell you something that I make no money on, why would I sell it to you? If the car has 11K's and has been through no accidents, the resale value is high, thus no need to accept low-ball offers, it will move fast. A potential win for the dealership.

Pretty much it's whatever pops up on the Ipod, right now i'm really into King's X, Dave Matthews Band, and the New Megadeth. Today I had on Iced Earth, Nevermore, The Misfits, and Protest The Hero and Kamelot while going and leaving the lake.

I think you just like saying "Nip Perch"

Nice work. I consider BOQ perch tops in Ontario, it's great because the Walleye snobs don't care for them, and most of the time you are the only ones in the perch grounds.....

I bought this camera early this year (kinda pissed now that the camera is $200 cheaper.... ) It's durable and everything you need in a metal housed camera. I need to use mine more.

I bought the fake weeds last year (reel weeds) and they work huge. They hold fish, and bring in lots of other fish as well, great investment, and you really bring the fish to you using this method. I highly recommend them.

If it's perch you're after, pound mud, and use live bait.

Maggots are the way to go.. I usually get white and red ones, they keep for months in the fridge, and when you bunch them up on the hook, it looks real good to the fish. Try em out.

Just booked 2nd weekend in January, rooms are filling up fast, it'll be good times as always.

Leave it at home, all transportation is provided to and from the Huts via Bombardier.... they are always around, so if you need to leave early that can be arranged.

Spent 3 weekends up there last year, and all 3 times were awesome! Early season is best for Pickeral, and you are always on schools of perch and cisco's to keep you busy all day throughout the months. There is also big ling to be caught, we caught 5 of them last year, as well as pike and lots of mud puppies. The huts are huge and propane heated, we were always well taken care of by a young guy named Will who works there, he's always looking to put you on to fish, even drilling holes on the outside if need be. The cabins on shore have everything you need, TV, stove, clean beds, and clean washrooms with hot tap water at all times. Another cool thing is there is a bar in the main building where the locals and guests gather for drinks, even a live band every so often! Things can get quite sloppy there lol. Other than that, the hosts are good people, and all they want to do is take care of you, great place, and great breakfasts there as well I give it a solid 8/10.

You can also grab some at Fishing World in Hamilton. I especially like the new holographic finishes that Salmo brough out, will work great for perch and crappies, however pike seem to like them as well...

It would definitely be sea run Atlantic salmon, none of this great lakes crap…lol The best fighting, and best eating off all game fish period. -
Raven 10lb High vis yellow - The best main line for the dollar. It's strong, ties great knots, and floats nicely.

1. The Pats suck 2. At least someone was having luck at the docks in the Well-Well 3. Nice report.

Some SteelHeads Call Em Rubber Boots

LOL, or "Couple o' Boots down by the river sporting bling" - That's of course if you painted them with a couple cleo's and chrome mustad salmon egg hooks in em' But seriously, nice paiting something I would consider hanging in my fishing cove at home. -
Hey, how'd fishing shows become infomercials again?
perchslayer666 replied to Mike Pike's topic in General Discussion
That’s called being a great salesman and pitchman. These guys have a dream job of being paid to fish and receiving free gear and tackle, they gotta pay the bills somehow. I have no problem with it, I actually think it’s kind of cool that he can land huge fish and talk about the gear he is using. Think about the Vince the Shamwow guy, and then think about doing that while battling trophy fish….it’s an art as much as it is a job. -
Sorry to hear about your day JM, wasn't this sale on since the beginning of November? My experience with sales at BPS, if it's a great deal it will sell out fast... these were probably gone in a week at that price. Personally i've had a lot of good experiences with BPS, and when stuff like this happens you got to just deal with it. Companies like BPS spend a ton of money on print ads (usually done by an outside marketing company) and mistakes do happen....just got to take it in stride and understanding. Always call ahead!!!!

How much does a puppy of this breed cost? Ballpark....?
-
Your carburetor needs to be cleaned, simple solution man. If you are not so mechanically inclined to do it yourself, take it to a marine mechanic should cost around $150, but then she'll run smooooooth.
