  1. I spooled up withit once in 08 and didn't like it, to easily broken off on rocks and zebra's, went back to seagar and trilene lines. not saying it is a bad line i suspect i got a bad spool i could snap 8 lb test easier than 4 when i tested it after losing 2 x-raps or so
  2. for the small amount of money i had to spend, I had a great time listning to the speakers and a better time talking with everyone (taro, dave chong, mark kulik, pete mania, dave mercer) and sharing some laughs, also meeting fellow OFC'ers tangled lines tj cliff and carol ect (ok can't remember the rest). there were some deals to be had but since my house already looks like bass pro shops there wasn't much use in buying more stuff (which is why I took my tiburon to the show 2 fat guys and 4 t-shirts she was full) and after running my hands over the alliston and the ranger comanche at the show i was in love.
  3. great ride Lew that boat will handle just about any kind of water
  4. It was great meeting everyone and petes muskie dance was pretty good. Metting mark kulik at the st.croix booth and having a great jaw with him, David chong and taro murato at the fish city booth were great and congrat to taro on his wife having twins on the weekend
  5. put a spark tester on it while it's cranking on the starter, almost sounds like the ignition is grounding out when cranking over
  6. I never had a problem finding blades for my fin-bore, havn't replaced them in 3 years anyway but usually gagnon's in oshawa always had them in stock

  9. depends what you want to fish for, there is speckle lakes, laker lakes and some lake with eyes in them, but crystal, pencil and salmon lakes have some laker action to be found, picard is stocked with bows, salerno has some eyes fortescue i believe is stocked with lakers either way good luck

  12. love the truck bill much nicer than the pathfinder
  13. my main tow vehicle is a 2003 seirra z71 with a 4.8l v8 it'll get 700 km to a tank driving nice towing a ranger bass boat gets about 500-580 to a tank. With the newer trucks the best fuel mileage is the new gmc/chev full size with the 5.3l with the cylinder management function seen this truck get 30mpg hwy and get respectable mileage towing the worst on fuel is dodge and toyota trucks but no matter who you choose for a full size there are all great high quality pieces these days
  14. I might just be able to make this one, my only problem is by the time i get a hole cut big enough to troll i am to tired to fish
  15. well the encoer motors tccm and the actuator are all very common issues with these. i have a part#12577412 tccm in my tool box as a back up if you would like to try it out before you commit 250 bones you just have to drive to scarborough to do so
  16. yes replace the torque, first of all they won't offer any warranty on the rebuild if you don't. second of all simple flushing will not remove all debris from a torque converter it has to be opened up, cleaned checked rewelded and balanced you will kick yourself later if any debris travels from the torque to the valve body and causes it to act up.
  17. how do you know it's the transfer case control module? the most common issue is the front diff actuator goes bad and thats a $135 fix plus labour
  18. don't worry stoty had my ranger in 3-4 ft'rs the nitro and trition guys were hiding in the back bays
