Don't understand why most condolences need to start with "While I didn't agree with his views". Who cares? A man who served the public and did what he thought was best passed away. Has nothing to do with whether you agree with his views or not.

To say this was a blindside was an understatement. Ive never conversed no met John but always enjoyed his posts and after reading about someones experiences and especially with him being so eloquent and descriptive you really feel like you knew the person. Even though all I know of him is words on the screen this is really hard to take. This board has lost a great member and a great guy

The view will be terrible. Its not great views in a small arena to begin with due to the cage and the cameramen blocking. Rogers centre will be worse. Wonder what ticket prices will be.

Great Fish diggy! Really enjoy your reports from the cottage. Havent been able to get out this year which sucks but I live through these kinds of reports lol.

Nothing wrong with Lake Ontario fish if you follow the guidelines. A lot better then farmed fish that's for sure.

I don't see anything funny about this at all. Its actually quite a serious situation and shouldnt be taken lightly in lieu of all the unfortuante incidents from this weekend. I'm glad he's ok.

Splashhopper -> I just wish some of these do-gooders tried to run their own business and see how easy it is and how many times they wouldn't accept cash so they can actually pay themselves that week. Too many ppl spout off without walking in other peoples shoes.
