  1. Hi Rana, Try the Humber Bay East Park. Use light line, small hooks and small worms on a bobber. This should bring in a few panfish for your daughter to catch.
  2. WOW! Glad your daughter didn't fall in! You are the second person this week I've heard of who caught a muskie on an Erie Dearie. Did you tip it with something or just straight?
  3. It's threads like these that make me glad I joined this community. BTW that is an amazing picture!
  4. I like the ones I catch Also Mcdonalds uses Hoki fish instead of Cod for the Fillet-o-fish
  5. Nice Report! It's always nice when you have a lady who likes to fish
  6. They should get a sign up there as most recreational anglers would probably have no idea.
  7. I'm probably heading out there last weekend of October for some Walleye action. Hope it's not too cold.
  8. I have enough trouble catching either one of those species and you caught two at the same time?! Some guys have all the luck
  9. Cool, bring some top water baits and weedless lures as it is a pretty weedy lake. Enjoy and take some pics if you can!
  10. Lake Scugog is pretty good for Bass and is only a 45 minute drive from Toronto. There are a bunch of boat renatl places scattered around the lake.
  11. Hi All, Have been reading this board for a while and registered here today. I just recently got back into fishing after being away from the sport for almost 10 years and I've fallen back in love with it again! This weekend I went up to Sturgeon Lake to a buddy's cottage and took the boat out for some fishing. After the cold front passed through Friday night I didn't think I would have any luck but the opposite was true. I was fishing where the rocks meet the weeds around Hawkers Bay and the smallmouth were hitting hard. My buddy was using live minnows and I was using white berklys power grubs on an eerie dearie. Must have caught about 10 nice size smallies within a couple of hours in the morning and got the same results when going in the evening. Wish I took some pics but I forgot my camera at home. This is a very informative site and I'm looking forward to becoming part of your community and picking up some tips along the way. Cheers
