  1. That's being pretty mild to what I would call her.
  2. If you're not going to report it, then there's no point in gathering opinions whether you should or not.
  3. So where is this road, like to do a search. If you don't want to post it here, I'm not looking for a fishing spot, then please PM me.
  4. Ok, leave out the sugar products and add cracked pepper, get a bag of peppercorns, Bettys rolling pin and lightly crush them. Apply to your taste. Not the rolling pin but the crushed p/corns.
  5. Lightly cover fillets with pickling salt in a glass pan, rinse next morning, light coating of brown sugar or baste with maple syrup, into the smoker for the required time.
  6. There are things on a pole that are the shape of a mini umbrella that you can buy, now necessity of cheapness, an upside down 4 litre jug on a 1/2 inch dowel or plastic conduit should be good.
  7. Good thing it's not garbage day.
  8. They are the ones that will learn the hard way.
  9. I bet, we could write a series of paperbacks. Forgotten drain plugs, forgot the battery, forgot the transom straps. But, I think the most excruciating one was about 30 years ago at Fisherman's Cove at the Narrows, some guy who had obviously never practiced, backed up his boat with the motor tilted up. That wasn't the bad part, it was when he rammed the prop clean through the other guys pick up door. Needless to say it was pretty close to an all out rumble.
  10. I would add a 1" x 1" angle across from side to side to help with the new big triangle. Maybe you can use 1/8th stainless machine bolts with nyloc nuts.
  11. Nice, you can just slide over to anyone with a portable hut and blow him out of your favourite spot...
  12. Wonder what it's like going up any hills?
  13. Went this morning, Got a six pack of cross bolts for $59, almost half price.
  14. Ever see a cell phone weapon? When I was still working we used to get info from XXXX regarding easily concealable weapons, looks like a cell phone but you don't want to be on the receiving end.
  15. Yes, watched the video, looks like he is playing quick draw with the LEO, that is far beyond what I would have endured. In the ascending order of use of force, it appears he is using an apex weapon (purported) pistol. Double tap..the end. A completely different scenario that the lad with the knife, Sammy.
  16. Amen and I'm not religious.
  17. Wonder what that's going to cost the taxpayers, pretty sure a few dollars more than a couple of .40 rounds.
  18. Oh, okay there are spots by the old railroad bridge on the west side but I can imagine that there will be a lot of people there. I don't know if they still allow fishing from the wharf of the south side.
  19. You might have a bit of a problem launching a boat. If ice was affecting perch fishing, then no one has let the perch know all winter long.
  20. Although the Etrex 10 is basic, it will get you in and out, I would go with a Garmin 78s, you can plug it in to 12v DC on ATV if the batteries die. I've got an older 76CX and it's pretty accurate. Saved me a couple of times in the fog on G Bay.
  21. Poor birds out there are going to have a tough go of this.
  22. I'm sure all those short staffed types will be out there, lol
  23. I think a lot of the problems originate from a high percentage of people buying them without any common sense. It falls into the same category as super headlights that give off a nuclear glow at night blinding everyone oncoming. Or lets have blue signal lights, etc. Noisy mufflers, tires that stick out a foot beyond the fenders, and we can go on with other items. If they sell them in a store we can do whatever we want with them. Some want to use them for hunting and scouting, not cool. If someone was to use it at the lake during ice fishing simply to check for unseen pressure cracks, fine, but don't be buzzing around annoying people.
  24. No but I'm surprised at the lack of tree damage around our neighbourhood, might be some people still looking for their blue boxes and garbage cans though. Pretty funny watching them go smoking down the road.
