  1. Up at 0420, bowl of oatmeal and coffee, off to the spot, wait a few minutes for it to get a little closer to dawn. Set up, miss the first one. Second roebag did the trick. Weighed in at 6 lb 11 oz. Missed a couple more but this started the day off right.
  2. Well I sure hope it's a one product use otherwise the next ones getting a shot of Brokeback Mountain 80W90 marine loob up the hoop.
  3. Putting the hunting seal on the animal, also known as tag.
  4. As of today they only had 2 full one piece mustang suits and a couple other black unknown brand ones. The sales fellow said as soon as they come in they're sold. I'm waiting to see if they get any Mustang coats, have to check daily. I know BPro doesn't have the coats and Sail doesn't carry mustang.
  5. They must have hit the motherload of yahooligans when it comes to ignoring the rules.
  6. It might cost you, but after 11 years you'd be amazed what will come out of there. I'm somewhat anal about keeping my jerry cans clean, otherwise crud may end up in any of the gas powered equipment. Little chunks of plastic, little pieces of rubber probably from the nozzle O ring, etc. Hopefully you have one of those big spin on in line filters.
  7. Don't quote me but I'm sure that Doug Ford mentioned that was going to be brought forward making it illegal for insurance companies to make quotes by using postal codes. If you live in Brampton or Vaughn rates may be much higher. Well I can see why in Vaughn, to many guys think they're related to Andretti. I think it's hit and miss, same vehicle driven by 2 different people in same neighbourhood with same policy can have much different costs.
  8. Normally I'd do it that way but with the crazy winds lately I've had the BBQ get blown out.
  9. Ha, had be thinking there for about 5 seconds, then I realized I wouldn't fit into the oven.
  10. Laid on a bed of thinly sliced onions, topped with a dusting of lemon pepper and dill, plop of butter and into the oven.
  11. This guy made my day, gets the blood moving early in the morning.
  12. A very nice addition but when it comes to billiards, I couldn't sink a ball unless I tilted the table. ?
  13. That import method of keeping info, as you get older you tend to forget, just like the grocery list.
  14. Only for millionaires, hard enough to pay seasonal camp fees never mind land tax, hydro, jump through the hoop sanitation rules etc. I think it would wiser to rent for a week or two per year and scratch the itch.
  15. Ha, the shrimp trick, works well and cheaper than minnows.
  16. Well some people go to great lengths eating stuff I would shy away from.
  17. Just checked Michelin Defender, still cheaper at Costco and if you run into problems you can go back to Costco along with free balance and rotating. I don't see too many 4tires.ca stores anywhere. Same for winter tires, WS80 Blizzak for car, $10 a tire cheaper at Costco.
  18. What buckhorn 250 said, the most annoying people on the road with their all season or all weather yet not really good for any season, can't get around the snowflakes or up the hill yet are bound and determined to make life miserable for others on the road.
  19. Ya, saw that too and of course two sides to every coin and that fine line of fact and truth. Personally if I go fish and put in the effort, I'm going to eat it.
  20. "Wide open throttle" trying to get to your favourite spot that's about to be invaded by everyone that thinks it's their favourite spot too.
  21. Too many, all depends on previous use and how the owner treated it. I gave a 20 year old Honda 25 to a family member, it needed a new gasket in one spot, that was it. When the mechanic looked at the internals, he told me it looked like new, no wear on the cams or valves, 100% compression. I used the Amsoil synthetic and that motor probably had 2000 hours on it. I'm not one to start a motor and immediately try to go warp speed, let things warm up a bit and go moderately before cruising.
  22. Yes, maintenance is a must with any fuel unit. forget the Chinese machines, when you need parts it can be a headache. Take a look at CTC, they have the B&S 2200 inverter on sale this week, not the quietest but reasonably acceptable. They will run the fridge and freezer and if you have someone with a bit of electrical prowess, you can get the furnace to run from them too. http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/search-results.html?q=briggs and sratton 2200 inverter
