I'm sure a few of you have seen the info on these things, guys using them for ice fishing, etc. problem is, they don't fit into any particular category for licencing and insuring. So before plunking down the cash, read below, I sent a query to MTO about a month ago and finally got an answer today. Thank you for your e-mail regarding the use of Snow Dogs in Ontario. Based on our current assessment, we have determined that the Snow Dog does not meet the classification requirements of an off-road vehicle (ORV) or motorized snow vehicle (MSV) under the Highway Traffic Act (HTA), Off-Road Vehicle Act (ORVA) or Motorized Snow Vehicle Act (MSVA) regulations. ORVs and MSVs riders must meet registration requirements, and must obtain either a plate or permit to operate their vehicle on Ontario roads or lands (i.e., provincial highways, trails). Vehicles that do not meet the ministry’s requirements may only be used on private property (i.e. property must be owned by the vehicle operator or the vehicle owner must obtain permission from the property owner prior to operating their vehicle on the property owner’s property). The Snowdog may also be operated on crown land, unless the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forests (MNRF) specifically prohibits public access to certain specific lands. Operators of the Snowdog must consult the MNRF to determine whether there are any restrictions in place which could prohibit operation of the vehicle on the land which the owner intends to operate the machine. Thanks and please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.

That trailer is a disguised power source to keep the truck and trailer moooving?

Probably go with the one above for the price. If I'm not mistaken the OEM one is around $400.

Hmm, if I had to go to that much effort and time waiting for a coffee, I'd be having withdrawals. Good thing is I have absolutely no craving for that kind of java?

Put a sail on it and you'll be in Beavertown in 10 minutes. -
Well at least there's 2 of us that know this simple method works like a charm. If you're real lucky, the rock will knock out the fish and it will come floating up for an easy catch. ?

Oh yaaa, eyesight still 20/20.

Thanks, road trip to Marks tomorrow for a spare pair. -
Ya, when I looked at the auger, it already has the telescoping feature, if you add an extension the crank part might be above your head unless you're 5 foot 24. The only time I ever needed an extension was in Manitoba, mid december and the handle went to the edge of the ice and I wasn't through yet, some of the locals had a good chuckle. But, being in friendly Manitoba, they poked a few holes for me and I was grateful.

Hahahaha, just wait until he finds a mask.

Knock someone, some people may need a minor knock to get the thought process activated. If the particular person had said, I checked with stores A, B and C and struck out, I usually make the effort to go look and give them a direction. If I stuck a sore nerve with you, there's always a tylenol in the medicine cabinet.

On occasion I read things that really make you wonder, what did they eat for breakfast, a bowl of ____? If you were to buy a store brand item such as Bass Pro socks, I really believe you would bring them back to Bass Pro for exchange or replacement. Now if you were to buy a Sail brand hand auger and needed an extension, where would you be inclined to go? Why would you even ask such a question.

I tried to eat one once but it kept slipping from my grasp, complete disgusting blob of flour and grease. Never again.

Ever pee icicles, then you have experienced it.

I've had these for at least 15 years and still going strong. XL size fits easy over my size 11 boots. Only thing is I can only find them at Cabelas.com. I found that some of those others with the big teeth, I ended up stumbling or wrenching my ankles when trying to turn. https://www.cabelas.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=2373394&type=product&WT.z_btnclk=YMAL-2373394&WT.z_pg_ref=prd1804322 -
I read something about this stuff somewhere, I've never used it. https://www.fishntech.com/u-40_cork_seal.html

Well tell you what, you stick out your feet and we'll get out our spud bars and give them a poke and watch you dance like a cod jigging ______. ? -
A pair of these for sure. https://www.amazon.ca/Heat-Demon-215048-Clamp-Heated/dp/B00SJX4U8I A good quality windshield is also recommended for those brutal windy days.

Do you realize there's virtually no ice down here yet and you go and post a lip drooling, keyboard drowning, video. And to boot, we stuck ramming down yesterdays turkey leftovers. ? Nice video.

You said it well, unfortunately I lost another good friend last friday to cancer, I was lucky to see him before he passed away. Money doesn't buy memories and when they're gone, it's final. Cheers to all.
