  1. I can take some pics tonight and send them.
  2. Yes, you can remove the bracket that holds the graph and mount it in the boat. There are store bought brackets available from Lowrance that fit the summer water skimmer transducer, you can either suction cup mount it or screw the bracket into the hull. Very easy. One more point, unless you have a mounting point to keep graph out of the burning sun and road dust, etc, I would mount it in something such as a dry box or lexan box. Even though they are waterproof to a degree, I don't take that chance. Less chance of it getting stolen too.
  3. BTW it's not $75, it's a $100, they say it's "7 derbies, 7 weeks", it would be nice if they actually had the opportunity to buy weekly tickets for less, say around $20-25, but they'll have no part of it. Not everyone can afford that kind of money to get out just a couple times, some live a little further away, can't get the time off, etc. Sooo, I'll donate to the Tyler event, at least I know it's local to my area and going to a great cause and everyone has fun.
  4. I have the slide in unit offset and bolted on the battery cover, (square 7x7 with the spring loaded front) to hold the rear seat, it allows the seat to tilt up to access the battery if necessary. I have another aluminum slider unit bolted to the front and center benches, about #10 self tapping screws, 14 years and still holding. The center and front seat are removeable by sliding the seat out sideways, also allows the seat to be adjusted about 8 inches either side before releasing. I have a 16' Starfish model, looks the same. Here's the parts, scroll down and click on the black one for the back: http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/template...&hasJS=true
  5. I think it's a typo, if you go to the Lowrance marine site check both the x67 and the x67c you will see they both run 800W same as the Eagle 350C. Check the downloads and you will find they are pretty much the same unit,(except the 350c doesn't have the rotating rainbow flasher option) something like Chev/GM.
  6. Barrie store does not have any.
  7. sucks to be you, not even a bad joke.
  8. Check the Radioworld site, it says it does come with the charger.
  9. From what I understand it's the same unit, the boat model doesn't come with the battery pack and soft cover, that's why the price is more for the other one. As for transducers, they achieve the same thing, just different shape, the ice model would leave a pretty rooster tail behind the boat. That said, the summer transducer can be used, you just have to fabricate a bracket to hang it level down your hole in the ice. Don'tknow if there's any available at his time of year, maybe Lebarons or Radioworld.
  10. Honestly, if I had to do it all over again, I would have taken a Jiffy 2HP 8" many years ago. I've had my Jiffy 3HP 8" for 18 years, changed the plug once, the other had a cracked insulator. There is a difference in weight, you indicate you have an ATV, so it shouldn't be a problem, just at the start and end of the season when you walk out, those extra pounds add up, just like your age. Unless you plan on having auger races, a few seconds one way or the other doesn't matter, that's why I'd go with the 2HP. Keep the blade out of the dirt, I may finally change the replacement blade after this year, I have to push down a wee bit. The only other maintenance I've done is change the carburateur diaphram, they dry out over the years. Keep an eye out for older used ones, they have better gear cases, some are now made of "plastic".
  11. Someone I know,(not me of course) has been pulling his hair out, it's on, it's off, reboot, try again, etc, over and over, maybe now it's good to go, I wouldn't mind getting a basic unit for the trailer during the summer for the rainy evenings.
  12. I don't know the dealer name but there's one located in Arthur,ON that's a high volume dealer and usually prices below the others, maybe worth a look.
  13. You're fishing pass has been signed for the year..
  14. Man, sunday morning and the Whine and Jeez party is still going strong..
  15. I'm sure they're coming, I was out with 12footspringbok, saw BigChevy4x4 and Lady Walleye, TJ and Avery were wandering around the bay having a chat with everyone, stiff leg Terry was hobbling around with a cane, DMasse and his entourage was whaling up the perch. First went to a big laker around 30" from there the whities took over. A great day, good burgers and dogs. Hope this happens again next year.
  16. How do you keep Jigger occupied...write "turn over" on both sides of the page...
  17. Be careful about cars and trucks on the ice, one fellow with other guys went part way in today with his truck and trailer(broke through the ice if you don't understand), washed his trailer and snowmobile with lake water, managed to get out. Area is towards Snake/Fox Is. If you don't know the area, ask.
  18. TD Primmum, they do individual items, no need to have home/auto or other things with them, most likely the cheapest too. Call before you leap into the frying pan.
  19. Give Laker a good pat or two, nice lab they have.
  20. Darrell: Are you sure the powerhead is actually made in Germany, not just engineered there and hatched in China, I heard otherwise, just curious.
  21. Now who the hell is Tony, I thought he left to go to NY.
  22. Well I don't think that would be much good on anything under an 18 foot boat, takes up a pile of room, might make the boat tilt a bit, you would always have to get the fish to the same side of the boat, have to take it down to put the boat cover on...hmmm..add a garbage can and lid, oh wait, they already have foot operated garbage cans.
  23. That's womens work and I don't see no panties on my a__.
  24. We don't want any inferior 'merican worms escaping and mingling with our dirt snakes, makes for bad fishfood. Goes both ways, can't bring stuff your direction, can't bring stuff up our direction, bet the worms know there's a border.
  25. I do that with my cat and she never argues..
