  1. Get the VIN and check here: My link
  2. I know this was discussed a bit a while back, found this on another site..I do stray a bit now and then.. , maybe useful to some. Here's the link and scroll down to magicman. My link
  3. Aha, so monday you still had the rear scope cover.. Very nice buck, you finally got rid of the skunk, glad to see the old smokepole still works its magic. Nothing wrong with that picture..it's got a deer in it.
  4. There's a place in Orillia that does them, "Rockey's" pretty sure it's been mentioned before here. Rockey's Tackle Repair 705-325-3526
  5. It's a big woodpecker that makes those, we have them out in our forested areas, they can lay a real beating on a tree in short order. Holes big enough to put your fist in and then some. First time I saw one last year, I thought it was a raven with a bad hair do. Pileated woodpecker. Here:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pileated_Woodpecker
  6. In addition to what Brian said, and, maybe it's time to go see the Doc and find out if you have poor circulation, possible sign of diabetes and maybe some other ailments.
  7. This is usually the first board I read in the morning and definitely not something anyone wants to read or hear of. Sincerely hope the powers to be can help her win the fight on this one, hang in there Wayne, there's hope.
  8. Done, lets see about the 20 days..
  9. I took a quick look, each unit only draws 3 amps max, therefore I doubt it's actually a wire rating issue unless he's used something thin like 24 awg for a looong run. I've seen some of that spagetti wiring in some boats (and other vehicles), some people should not be allowed to play with their wires.
  10. There's corrosion in them there wires and connectors, rip it out and rebuild..soldered connectors with liquid tape and non of those open to air and corrosion crimp connectors. Quit wasting time, there's fish to be caught.
  11. A persons body is not like fine wine that gets better with age, the older you get, the more you appreciate key start. No cursing when the shoulders or arms give out.
  12. Apply some elbow grease to the interior, the seats look like...I wouldn't sit on them. As for spending money on parts, it's hard to put a fine line there, the body looks kind of questionable too, just an honest opinion.
  13. Well that didn't take long, 8:20pm and they say Ford has enough votes already, too bad the rest of us couldn't get a mayor like that.
  14. You have answered your own question, starting batteries are NOT meant to be used as a power source to drain down, use the marine DC batteries and recharge either while driving or when you get back home.
  15. #1. Take the battery and give it an 8 hour charge, disconnect and let it sit with nothing connected for 24 hours, then go and check the resting voltage, should be 12.65V, if it's any less than that, ie, 12.4, it's only at 60-70% of charge and on its way to the recycle shop. #2. With the voltage drop you see, remove your conectors and give them a good cleaning with a pencil eraser, if there's any amount(I mean ANY amount) of corrosion at crimp on connectors, re-wire and solder on the connectors.
  16. Yamaha or Honda, one fellow I know who is into this stuff will not take a Polaris unless there's a toolbox handy.
  17. Tiffin St park, good place, stop in at your local grocery store and buy the cheapest shrimp ring you can get, rip of pieces and put them on the hook.
  18. A lot of good members that share info, whether it be about fishing or anything else where someone needs a hand or help fixing, buying, etc. And, it can get pretty humourous at times.
  19. The one forgiving thing about P/A is their return policy, you're not satisfied, bring it back, you break it during resonable use, bring it back. At least there you don't have to argue with them like those turnips at China Tire.
  20. Brian ...step away from the gun, it's made of iron and you know about magnetics...might stick to your head..
  21. Cuz the damm hut would be stuck to the side of your head....you asked for that one.
  22. All those "flawless fords" and the truth slowly comes out, crack manifolds, cracked brake drums, collapsed lifter, and a buum. No that's what it does just before it totally quit..buum.
  23. Meaford harbour monsters, you have no idea how many rods mysteriously go missing every year, "all of a sudden my rod was gone"....you should have one of those heavy rod holders, trailer tire rim with a piece of 1 1/4 pipe to hold the rod.
  24. If the weather is to grumbly for ice fishing, then maybe I'll make a coffee table or two.
