  1. Good thing he's got the lid off, I have visions of Chef -oh boy she blew all over the ceiling.
  2. Unfortunately there's more than just "HIM" that we don't get to hear about.
  3. This is just unbelievable. http://www.ctvbc.ctv.ca/servlet/an/local/CTVNews/20110107/bl_kelowna_brutality_110107/20110107?hub=BritishColumbiaHome
  4. I think he's been influenced by the Illuminaties.
  5. Vinnimon, I believe they were called a Beno Eel. There's 2 on ebay.
  6. I don't suppose you mean one like this:My link I got that in 1968 at Big Pauls Sporting in Pickering, one of the first lures I ever bought.
  7. Ya, chinese bible 'cause that's where they get most of their stuff.
  8. Oh boy, glad to see you made it, I can just see 6'6 arms and legs going 100mph trying to get outa there.
  9. The X67C is $249 @ Radioworld, rig a small clamp and use the summer skimmer transducer all year long. If you want, I can get you a picture or two. Put it in a dry box with a 12V/7A gell cell(available with chargers for about $25)and you're good to go.
  10. And not within 9meters or 30 feet of intersection or the parking nunzio will tag you.
  11. Dr. S, had a very similar problem on an 04 Skandic, rear light, fuel gauge and tach running spordically. Ended up being a bare chaffed wire that runs through the tube along side the running board, it was a real pain to diagnose, the bare part was facing down and if I hadn't seen a tiny spark while rattling things, I was ready to take the big hammer out.
  12. If you're worried that it will take a bit of armstrong to launch or retrieve the boat, go and get some Glide Stiks, they come in a variety of sizes to apply over the bunks. I removed the carpet completely, nothing to rot. I know one of the guys at the camp has a large 20' Starcraft on bunks with glide sticks, no effort required either direction.
  13. No personal knowledge, but they definitely look like a cut above the rest. I suppose the other way to go is with dry ice.
  14. Some people shouldn't be advertising their follies when it comes to doing stupid things, go to a propane refill station and if not saving yourself, maybe save the unknowing that's too close for comfort.
  15. No, no no, it's ethanol, not methanol and it's Shell not Sunnoco,
  16. One of the best things you can do is to leave the machine at a steady temperature. From inside to outside and back inside causes condensation to form in the tank, next thing she'll(the auger, not the wife unless you leave her outside too) freeze up and then you'll need another rotator cuff from all the pulling.
  17. Well, all I can remember is 1 flip of the tail, the fish got away and I ended up with this plop of "pikesnot" on my face, maybe not as long lasting as grease but it let the fish escape.
  18. We have done the on ice bungalows a number of times. If the weather is fair, they can be okay, you can get out for a stretch and roam around a bit. If the weather gets nasty, windy and cold, it can be a chore just going for a #1, never mind finding out how cold the white ring can be doing a #2. You wanna know how cold..didn't think anyone ever got freezer burn on their O ring.. NOooooo. For the last 3 years we have gone the other way, cottage on shore, all the amenities and go fish in the supplied huts during the day. Besides, if this is just a weekend getaway with the better half, those skinny bunks sorta limit the acrobatics you can perform.
  19. Just finished reading elsewhere, Cooks Bay is good, slick like pikesnot, wear cleats, you really don't loose much ice at this time of year, the sun is too low on the horizon to affect it.
  20. Brian, doesn't appear to be the most common item, but, this company ships within Canada from a "local" warehouse to beat the taxes. Scroll about 1/2 way down the page, listed at $25. http://www.extacklestore.com/winter/ice_shelters.htm
  21. And why would anyone pay good money to listen to music when there's more stations out there than you can shake a tuner at.
  22. Google the phone number and :Penfold g 905-387-3876 19 Pinewarbler Crt Hamilton, ON L9A 5A1
  23. Not so bad that you have rods and reels to catch specific fish, but, bass boats, walleye boats, I wonder what a perch boat looks like. Then there's the winter ice fishing flashers, oh they have to go round and blink in fruity colours. Garry pretty much nailed that one.
