  1. Ahhhh.. Starting to go
  2. Is this your permanent home or cottage style. Additions required building permits and a whole bunch of hoops and loops to jump through. If you haven't done it yet, go see your local municipal office for requirements for a start. Good luck.
  3. Nice video Brian, that little flipper did not want to come ashore.
  4. And who is going to pay my fuel to drive there and back to pick up a parcel, I would estimate at least $40 for that and my time, USPS/CanPost is still cheaper. Fine if you live around the corner scenario, but most of us don't.
  5. Ya, the melt is on, read that 2 ATV's went into the drink, one west of Georgina and another around Pefferlaw, equipment gone but nobody hurt other than ego.
  6. I beg to differ when it comes to using USPS and Canda Post. I've never had a package take that long, the last two came 2-5 days and a whole lot cheaper than those other highway robbers and I didn't have to get a US address.
  7. Honestly, I'd be a bit more tempted to forego the hinge, many $$$$, and use a simpler method such as a 3/16" or 1/4" "sleeve" about 1' long over the existing center tube. 6" goes over the rear tube, 6' stays open, then you can still use the same piece from the cut forward and just use a 1/2" tractor attachment pin to hold it in place. Get home, pull the pin and slide out the front piece.
  8. You can get the switch at West Marine, Cabela's or BPro. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Perko-Dual-Battery-Switch/737961.uts?Ntk=AllProducts&searchPath=%2Fcatalog%2Fsearch.cmd%3Fform_state%3DsearchForm%26N%3D0%26fsch%3Dtrue%26Ntk%3DAllProducts%26Ntt%3Dbattery%2Bswitch%26x%3D19%26y%3D8%26WTz_l%3DHeader%253BSearch-All%2BProducts&Ntt=battery+switch&WTz_l=Header%3BSearch-All+Products
  9. Man if you want to do things against the regulations, go ahead, but I don't think there's any point in trying to advocate the use of attachment in question. This should be put to rest, it's worse than Duceppe and Ignatieff.
  10. Well then the TSSA should send out a flash to retailers and have them pulled from the market. I've never been one to refill the small tanks, in the long run a 5 lber does the job just as well.
  11. A sad day, condolences to you and your family.
  12. For those that poopoo the compass, ya better read the new boating regs. I look over the back of my boat, water is whizzing out of the whizzer hole, I look at my gas tank and see a fuel gauge, I look at my GPS and it tells me how fast I'm going. I look at my oil light and it tells me there's acceptable pressure.
  13. Okay, now where's the rod holder Teach them how to do good hooksets and I'd be interested.
  14. 8 foot fibreglass, go see the guys at Durham Radio, they're in Whitby.
  15. VHF radios along with other types must pass an industry standard to be allowed to be licenced. Most all brands fall well within, some slightly better. Some have more "features" but that doesn't make them a technically better radio. For the few dollars more I would pay the extra for DSC. That's automatic GPS transmission when your butts drinking lakewater and the SS Minnow is sinking.
  16. Ha, you beat me to it, my last monthly bill was $74 of which only $22 was actual use, the remainder was delivery of $34 and then the debt retirement, HST, etc. $34 for delivery eh? The hydro wires are the same ones that have been here for 30 years and still going strong.
  17. I was taking to someone today that drove out, and came back, where exactly, I don't know.
  18. If you feel robbed or don't like the food, FIDO, Fuddle It, Drive On, or don't you control your own life. Bunch of sheep...
  19. Well, didn't you score big, that's handy, I've still got a 7A one that has to be around 20 years old, date stamp of 32/89, still has enough to power the F/F for a couple days.
  20. Nooo, working on 32 years with the same one. I see you posted at 11:51, that was awful close to lunch time. I'm suspecting you were neglecting your culinary duties again. If you wish, I can send you a schedule of womanly duties and allowed timings. Smile Twilight, just having fun with ya.
  21. You got that right, years ago the butcher showed me that, a hotdog with no flies after 30 days,
  22. Why would he get it fixed for his girlfriend, her car, her problem. Besides, being a good girlfriend leads to being a good future wife and we all know that means spending time in the kitchen away from the phone and computer. Time away from the stove leads to potential burning of supper, a.k.a. unhappy husband syndrome. Now get back to your stove and no texting between stirring.
  23. Jeez it's only a Sunfire and a girlfriend, take out the windshield, give her a helmet and goggles, she'll be the cool one on the road. Might also be the small circuit board that the trucks had issues with.
  24. Best wishes for many more to come, hope all works out for ya.
