  1. Well I bought mine brand new in a box still for 200 so I'd start lower by a bunch it is end of the season after all.
  2. Holy freak of nature!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is it just perspective or is that the longest Speck I've ever seen.
  3. Chad I wouldn't trade your river for anything, well except maybe a few other brook trout rivers properties.
  4. Last week of Sept have a cottage rented on the river for the week. Now I know the river very well for fishing musky but we have 4 kids age 8-14 with little to no fishing experience. My buddy and I will be hitting the musky pretty hard but would like to take the kids out for some easy catching. Doesn't matter what species as long as its plentiful(preferably panfish)Any help would be appreciated. As always I would prefer PM's
  5. I use a -10 bag for Ice out trout and have never had a problem. I combine it with a thermal bad as I haamock camp to make sure my back stays warm and it has got below -10 before and I was fine. Wear a toque or you lose a lot of heat out of your head.
  6. Well yes, but it was the Fibs that made turbines a possibility in the first place.
  7. So as an exammple here my fav smallmouth river this summer. The Lower it is the better Guess I'm going fishing tommorow or I might miss it
  8. LLSP is one of the most beautiful places in Ontario. The distance is big enough from GTA thats its never crowded and the fishinf is fantastic
  9. Great to see a couple of young families out enjoying the area. Dana great to see your keeping the weight off.
  10. Your excitement level was higher for this one. Angler sampling is some of the best info scientist can gather.
  11. Yep I'm thinking starting Mid September me be doing a lot of speck fishing.
  12. Problem with the local fishing here in KW has been the rain. Water levels have been crazy up and down.
  13. I've been using the excuse that it's a week year class for all species and I'm staying with that.
  14. So did you spend a lot of time on Stocco fishing ski's or somewhere else?
  15. Yep the Doc is awesome and last way longer than a Jack Pot
  16. Ifn it twas me I'd camp at Batchewana Bay PP and spend my spare time casting rivermouths for salmonids. Shouldn't need new gear to do that. Just some spoons and large capacity reels for when they make the run out into the lake. I wouldn't ignore fishing the Mary either although you might want to pick up waders to do that.
  17. Should have held off on the "Just kidding . I'm a 32 year old male" part you inbox probably would have been flooded. Like Rich said where you at and what you interested in? Oh and welcome to the board.
  18. Yup Brookies, either the easiest fish in the world to catch or the hardest.
