Ok, to explain what you are seeing.... there was a new feature release for our forum software that allows you to display thumbnails for posts IF they contain a picture. The idea here is that pictures encourage user engagement and ultimately lead to a more active community. Someone who might not have visited or read a post will sometimes see a picture that captures there interest and so they click to see more and engage. Avatars are still there just on the right side: This is something that we are testing..... so any and all feedback is encouraged. If we don't like this or we don't think it will help engage more user participation then we can simply disable this feature.

Sorry but I am getting tired of the covid arguments on the board. I am getting to many hurt feelings and he said crap reports. They will all be monitored and if it doesn't have a fishing basis it will be locked. Take your Covid facts and fiction to P.M. or somewhere else that likes fighting and mud slinging. Art

Apply carpet runner plastic (comes in a roll)it is self sticking and used when remodelers are going to be walking on the carpet. The correct answer though is to remove paint and reinstall like Brian said. Art

What you have chosen is a good set up for general fishing conditions. A MH for perch is no fun but a ultalight is no good for pike so the first rod should be something that does all jobs well. Eventually you will find the direction you will go to start tuning you're equiptment to the species and size you want. Art

You can use a wire lug that is the correct way to splice large wires. They are used in electrical splices up to three phase connections. They can then be covered with NOlox a compound designed to prevent corrosion and then taped up with high voltage tape which is stretchy and seals to itself. This is not like the electrical tape you use which is thin and plastic it is the rubber type of tape. Art

Everyone is entitled to have an opinion no matter what it is. The issue is when people do not accept other opinions as being valid is where the problem lies. People seem to want to argue about their opinions backed up by what they read and feel all other ones are wrong. If someone disagrees with an opinion that is o.k. just leave it as "we will have a difference of opinions and move on." I haven't the time or energy to referee adults on how to respect other views.
