  1. I would like for all to remember that unless they have evidence that is legally binding please do not name a specific group of people it will cause this to become an us against them situation that will be locked. Debate and discussions are welcomed that are backed up with facts and courtesy and hopefully an answer can grow legs and solve this issue. I am watching this with great interest since I have and would love to continue fishing the great lake Nipissing. Thank you Art
  2. The correct sale price for any thing is what you are willing to take and what someone is willing to pay. The dealer gave you what they are willing to pay and it is to low. Find another buyer is your next option. Art
  3. Yea I burned my thumb after using that trick. The super heated air coming out of the removed valve core was hot and I didn't want to lose all of the air as I fumbled the core back in place. Art
  4. I didn't tell him about the starter fluid way of inflating a tire. Art
  5. Norm try a real air compressor if you have one. The small compressors do not have the volume to reset a bead. If you get it jacked up before you take it off take a ratchet strap and go around the tire the same direction as the tread and ratchet it till it is tight. Start inflating and as soon as you have around 10 lbs take the strap off and finish filling it. Art
  6. I run dot 5 it has a higher boiling point. Your truck suspension is set up for the weight better than a trailer. Adding weight to a trailer in an emergency maneuver gives it more inertia to whip from side to side. Stress on the ball hitch and the locking mechanism is increased and with the cheaper hitches with the wedge that goes up and down can cause them to fail when you need them the most. Art
  7. Jeeez we just let him off of Mod Q and he won't shut up. Art
  8. well done Mike thanks for sharing your talents. Art
  9. Chris look at the Diawa lexa reels they have a little size to them. As you look at the reels make sure you pay attention to the weight of the reels as well. You also can look at a pair of nose picker gloves to keep your hands from cramping up. Art
  10. Yup I had to jump a few boat switches in my time. The big boat the security is not in the keys but where they are hidden. The switches to start the motors are toggle switches on the panel but the search for the keyed switches will take some time. I also wired the battery switches backwards so off is on for an added measure. locks are for honest people for the most part anyone with the basic skills can pick the locks but more importantly anyone who wants to bypass a lock doesn't care if they damage it in the process. Not that any of this is right all that a lock does is prove intent of trespassing or burglary in a court of law. Art
  11. Cause we all know how high security boat ignitions are. You can start them just as fast with a hammer/screwdriver and a wrench. Art
  12. Term them as sub contractors and see if that will make the comp. issue go away. Art
  13. Happy Birthday to the Great White North. Art

  16. Nice photo shop Roy because I KNOW Lew does not smile. John and Barb Joe and I moved to Cabin 1 so you are in 6 now it has less stairs from what Goldie said. We should be in on Sunday mid day. Art
  17. Cool deal now show us the money. Art
  18. . Replace the bulb even if the bulb looks good. The drop of solder that makes the connection on the back may be worn down from vibration. While this sounds wacky it is very often the simple answer. Art
  19. Glad to hear you had such a great trip Lew. Fish or not I know if there is a place that will someday get a smile out of you it will come from there. Sure am going to miss you this year, Art
  20. Look at trex to see if it fits in your lifestyle Cliff. Art
  21. Yes it also applies to fuel Injected motors I am used to working on the carb. engines because it is what I own. Same principle though. Art
  22. Open the brass screw 1/2 turn it should let fuel flow out if it is what I think it is. If it does it is the bleed down for the carb. If no fuel then re close the screw 1/2 turn and I have guessed wrong. Art
  23. So if you think it is the bushing and your wrong how much money does this mistake cost? I have never seen an issue that gets cheaper the longer it occurs. .02 worth Art
  24. I would have entered my muskie picture except it doesn't exist..... Art
