. Replace the bulb even if the bulb looks good. The drop of solder that makes the connection on the back may be worn down from vibration. While this sounds wacky it is very often the simple answer. Art

Yes it also applies to fuel Injected motors I am used to working on the carb. engines because it is what I own. Same principle though. Art

Open the brass screw 1/2 turn it should let fuel flow out if it is what I think it is. If it does it is the bleed down for the carb. If no fuel then re close the screw 1/2 turn and I have guessed wrong. Art

So if you think it is the bushing and your wrong how much money does this mistake cost? I have never seen an issue that gets cheaper the longer it occurs. .02 worth Art

The ticket is not a cop judging the event as it being guilty or innocent. He is someone who has been trained to take the information and document it on the spot to be presented and then judged in a court of law. The discretionary part that a policeman has ,is there enough evidence of an issue/crime to warrant bringing it up to the Magistrate. So add one car long skid marks and a ditch means write a ticket. Your son presented evidence that it was a mechanical issue and was found innocent. Being a cop and doing your job by the book does not mean you have a grudge or hatred of something and you want to punish people. Yes there are some police that will do this but they are weeded out fairly quickly and disciplined/retired as the case fits. Art

References, business licenses, place of work address, insurance are very important. My boat lives at a marina and a great talking mechanic helped out my slip neighbor. It seems his wallet was to heavy so after lightening it he did part of the job and disappeared like smoke. Lesson learned Art

We have a sticker that is issued by the Coast Guard if you invite them to come aboard and check all of your equipment. It doesn't mean that you would not be spot checked by DNR. They usually will see the sticker and then ask to see 1 or 2 items from the list like a life vest and your extinguisher. They will then ask you to hold up your fishing license or we also have a whole boat license we can purchase for extra money that covers everyone on board. I have a personal license as well as the whole boat license to cover my friends that do not fish but once or twice a year. After a check or two DNR knows the boats they have checked and they will usually give you a wave and ask how the fishing is. Art

I have no issues with complying with the rules of the road/water and if I decide to break them then I am big enough to pay the fine. For someone to destroy a vehicle be it a boat or a car should be an outrage to the community that paid for it in the first place. I live with the rule if it is not yours don't touch it without permission even if it is left idling at the wharf. Few things boil my blood as people doing stunts like this. Art

Actually they already do they tax it before it gets deposited. lol The fishing license fee is something that you opt in for if you want to fish it is not mandatory. Kind of like the fee to go to a movie or amusement park. Those type of money raising do not bother me as much as taxes that are on products you need to live. Art

If you are unsure of why it died/overheated and it could be the impeller it is better to have it diagnosed by a professional and repaired. The penalty of over heating can be expensive. Art

IF you are talking about a well system then you need it to protect your water system from over pressuring if the switch arc's together. If it is city water then it is rare to see one and our local codes do not require one. The water heater also has a pressure temperature relief valve to safe guard the system. The water heater one is set usually at 120 lbs. The well tank one is set at 75 psi using a rv50 valve. Please be advised that the statement is for the rules and regulations for the USA and may not be correct for Canadian building codes. Good luck Art

My first wetting in the world of turbos was to take a 280z and mod a 280zx turbo and controls on to it. The turbo controlled by the mass airflow sensor reboxed and then run thru a volvo intercooler has a separate pressure switch that closed off the return to the tank and raised the fuel rail up to 65lbs. Talk about lighting the candle when you floored it. lol. It would eat corvettes on the straights as well as keeping the balance correct in the corners. Best car I ever built out as far as performance. The current ride is the eco boost that is stock and with the sequential twin turbos and the 3.72 gear set it has all of the grunt I need to tow as well as getting surprisingly good gas mileage but not as good as they advertised. I have gone to 2 wheels now for my speed fix with a SR500 track bike that is street legal and my latest build is a RZ350 with a custom programmable CDI,exhaust,porting, carb.,punched out twice over. So far we have gone from 42 HP to 67 at the rear wheel. The clutch had to be reworked from a R1 as well as beefing up the suspension to keep it controllable. I love two strokes. lol. The sprinter at 152 HP and being heavy and bulky you pretty much use the throttle as an on off switch. The shift points are it's down fall at 4000 rpms and with the load of the A/c running it takes time for the turbos to spool up and get the ratio back in line for fuel/air. I think as we press forward on the design of turbo's and getting them to react faster and more stable we will see them become common on almost all vehicles. Art
