Yes Frenchmans Bay has Pike but you only have one day to get to them. The mouth of any river entering Lake Ont. at this time of year has some kind of fish.

So what can you fish for on the bog at this time of year?

Yes Frenchmans bay is open all year, yesterday they were catching suckers and pike there.

On Friday I was at the cottage on a Kawartha lake, and for the first time in the 30 odd years of going up there , I saw a Bald Eagle. For sure! through the binocs I saw it sitting on the ice 100yrds away picking at something to eat ( could not see what it was). After it ate for 15 min. it took off and the crows followed to clean up the scraps. What a cool sight it was, it had the wingspan of a Canada goose!

Sorry but I also think that if you are not getting paid why should you stay. The administration holds you to the letter of the contract, (eg. break times) , it works both ways. This is not the times of Dickins Let us never go back to that - who has the jobs makes the rules.
