  1. I feel the day is going O.K. if I average 1 fish [bass] every half hour .

  3. How big can they get? Any limits on them as I saw nothing in the regs.
  4. If you followed the trail of carp deaths from last year you would of seen the path it was taking, from south-east to north-west through the K's. This year into Simcoe , Couch and so on. It will pass!
  5. The one I caught was only about 1/2 lb. Do they school? Can they be caught in numbers?
  6. I was fishing the mouth of the Rouge River on the weekend , and for the first time , I caught a White Bass . Anybody else ever heard of such a fish being caught in that location. P.S. Before anyone asks it was on worms!

  9. I have had a cottage on Deweys Island [north end of lake] for 30 yrs. There are lots of fish in Cameron its just that they are on the small side for whatever spieces that you want. For Bass try Goose bay just off the Burnt river

  14. It might be better to travel down the road about 2 miles to the mouth of the Rouge River. Always carp , bullheads, pike and the odd trout.
  15. Yes I have a cottage not to far from the Rosedale dam and the water is higher, faster and colder than the last 10 yrs.
  16. I agree , I have used many small plugs on creeks and the fish seemed to love them or hate them , day to day!

  20. I have had a cottage on Cameron for 30 yrs. [Deweys Island]. All of the above reports are correct , lots of fish in Cameron just not many of any size. South end for smallmouth and Picks, North end for Largemouth and Muskies.
  21. Rerries Bait and Tackel on Kingston Rd. at Morningside in Scarborough Has info about fishing spots as well A good guy, give him your business!

  24. That must of been it as they were using fly rods out into the lake . Thanks for the help maybe I will give it a go after the next rain.
  25. Was down at the mouth of the Rouge River on Sun. saw three fisherpersons . Did not see them hook up , what were they fishing for as they were pointed (fishing) out to the lake ,off shore and not along the river?
