If you are not going to eat your fish, as in , Catch and Release, then why not go after the big tough fish?

Good job on your first of the year, I too was out for some Carping on Friday . I just happened to be on my favorite eastern trib. and caught my personel best, just over 30 lbs. It looks like it is going to be a fine year.

There should be no limit on Crappie when they are an invasive species in that lake. Get rid of them from where they don't belong, keep em all.

I too did not know I was doing anything wrong,[it was over 40 yrs. ago], and kept a largemouth for 3 years. It went from being a couple of ozs. to just over a pound. After it died. it not go to waste , I did not want to eat it, but the dog who always watched it in the tank just loved it for dinner.

I once had a bass jump right back into the boat seconds after I released it.

I work for the City of Toronto, in a health care facility and we have gone into our pandemic action plan. We will know within a week how this is all going to play out.

Was at a few today from Scarborough to Bowmanville, they are all good to fish.

For your first time I think Sat. morning may not be your best bet, could sour you on stream fishing for a while.

Half the pressure , you have got to be kidding , more like 1/100th. of the pressure they get elsewhere.

I do agree that most fisherpersons are more likely to give good info. if you talk to them "on the water' as compaired to a website.
