  1. What a pain. We were walking into a property with bows in hand and lady pulled over and cried " Your not going to kill those deer are you" I responded "no, we are going to try and harvest one". She freaked and said " You have NO RIGHT to do that, they are beautiful creatures and you can't hunt here" Caught off gaurd I said " then you have no right to drive on this road because I said so and every right to close your eyes and pretend you didn't see us becasue I said so" She called the police and in a round about way, won , as I got a ticket for an expired sticker on my plate and she disrupted our evening hunt. As for your buddy Zulu, it's unfortunate, but the neighbour will always be a pain. However, you can return the favour. I would hold some weekly skeet shooting events. Right close to the propery line, especially during the summer and on Sunday afternoons.
  2. Rick. I found also the dollorama Popcorn buckets work great for the little ones!
  3. Amen! Largest Muskie I ever saw tried to eat my minn kota trolling motor, hit it so hard it rocked the boat, then she stayed, staring at it. I hit the power, she crushed it again. So I'll go with that for my #1 If LipDip is the ole "icing 'appen when da puck" dude, then him, Raf, Ron and Lewskie would probably agree it is more knowing the why, when, where they are, then the lure to catch'em.
  4. Probably could of sold them to Hooters.
  5. Careful! ... I am heading that way a couple times this year, St francis area too... Can you get a bass boat in there?
  6. Yes Sir, went through all 4 of us last week. 4 yr old got it Sat night, wife Sun, 1.5 yr old Sun night and me Monday. All lasted about 24 hrs, can't wait to see my water bill this month!
  7. Is this the same Smallie lake from the summer? Man I'd kill to get on there and lite'm up! Kinda bored of Simcoe and Erie(not really, but a chance for fish #'s and size like in previous posts and on a smaller lake, awesome)
  8. Looks awesome Lew! Joey sure did some hard work hunting down those she knew would love to be apart of it!
  9. DOH! Where was this a week ago! I agree with the DIY route. Unless you are getting into business tax. Bucktail, I claim the credits for my Mrs as well. Make sure you file her return (I did hers telefile for a simple basic return) as she should get any tax paid as a refund if no other income (investments etc..) and under the personal amount. As for H&R, they are moslty DIY'ers that use the same programs you would use if you DIY.
  10. Very sad indeed. I slipped one year into a rocky ravine while moose hunting and knocked myself out. If I was alone I probably wouldn't be here today.
  11. Just in, whole leaf team to Pittsburg for Crosby, Burke's bringing the Marlies up to play with him. Trying for a playoff run.
  12. Agreed, can almost hit NY from the Eastern trib peirs with the krocs.
  13. Freaky when you are travelling with little visablilty on the ice. Great job again, you've definitely are dailed in on Simcoe Terry.
  14. YOU OWE ME A BEER! Wife can clear the PVR now!
  15. If I could suggest another option. Buy a used truck around $5000, take the $500+ every month you would of spent for a payment, save it. In a year or so you'll have a down payment for a house, rent out the house or a couple rooms. There is lots of time in the future for the luxury of a new truck. Nows the time to build your financial foundation. I am not a financial guru, just wish I had this advice when I was your age.
  16. I usually walk up and ask "Hey, you Catch'n any" then they'll turn and say " No, I'm fishingfreak1342"
  17. Though I agree some of the prizes may not be angling related, atleast there is a Derby this year. Huge tournament series' in the States have lost massive sponsorships this year.
  18. Be careful, usually knock offs and even if the pricing is really good, look at the shipping! However, this is where alot of lures are manufactured, so the could just have really really good pricing, or they are the defects!
  19. I can see your point here if it was a close game. Kind of like the on side kick deal. I know they are pro's and suck things up to get the job done, but there has to be a competitive dealio amongst the players(always there when I played, especially in all star games). To be sidelined while someone else takes YOUR penalty shot, when your itching for your first goal in the olympics and there is a 4-0 lead, I think that would be alittle demoralizing to a player of his caliber. Edit - I just read your post above, you have a valid point
  20. I agree 100% Can only imagine what the mood is like in the dressing room.
  21. I have never had to use it (knock on wood) but I have CPR and Defib training for work. The instructor told us of two stories where those who had administered first aid where sued. 1. a lady was embarrassed that her blouse and bra where ripped off when compressions were administered. (If it's me in the future, feel to strip me and keep the clothes) 2. a man had a couple ribs broken from CPR after he was found VSA and brought back to life. (personally, I'd donate an arm to research after) Sad, but these and others stories wouldn't scare me to act if I had to.
  22. Great work bud, for me the one above is MINT... love the colouring, nice natural shillouette.
  23. Great Job bud. Those Dace are hands down the toughest IMO. Thru the ice I would take the Dace off the hooks and throw them back in the bucket and reuse them the next day. Great bang for your buck, and the 'eyes on the Bog love'm.
