  1. Great report, Awesome! I call the fish on the left a "Procol Harum" Cheers!
  2. HA! Nice one! I didn't even do that on purpose!
  3. Talk about some amazing advice in this thread. I wish I had some of this guidance when I started my guide business. Instead I learnt the hard way through trail and error. Mike, here is the down and dirty. Plain and simple.... There are a handful of guys I know who are true "Pros". Sure they can catch fish, but more important, they make you feel like an ole fish'n buddy after the day is done. That was always my goal guiding and itmade us quite successful. Basing this whole business venture on average fish boated is very very bad business. So, if you are prepared to invest thousands before seeing a return, have taken small business courses, ready to take all the courses and get your proper/required licenses, have 5 or 6 back up plans for each body of water to guarantee fish, diverse quality gear and have above average people skills, give it go. But to be honest, really research the COSTS. It will open your eyes. I guarantee it. Not trying to discourage, just sharing my experienced viewpoint.
  4. Rained for 20 mins this morning, exaclty from the time I left for my run until I returned.
  5. HA! The type of man that can drive a small car, doesn't need a ball sack hanging from his spare tire, wears pink dish gloves, cries watching Caddy shack or needs to use a 18ft rod on the rivers to make up for lack of something else. But real reason, I could give a rat arse what others think. Plus, I think its cool, but I think the same about my vintage trucker hats and Samantha Fox....
  6. OH MAN!!!!! That is hilarious! Love the Woody Joe, VINTAGE! Wayne, what a score, just amazing (Can I borrow it?) GBW, looks like a camo hunting shirt, LOVE IT! Leah, I actually have the same shirt, great taste girlfriend! I'm sorry I had to miss it.
  7. Fishing???? Throw a line off the back... I mean it's a house boat Bachelor Party... Do you see his line?? Kawarthas a lil while ago...
  8. Thanks TJ, please keep us abreast.
  9. I tried the no air thing too. House was like a sauna during the day, the wife lost 10 pounds and my girls lost their baby fat. Seriously though, I tried closing the blinds and running the furnance fan... any other tips?
  10. And the Canadian counter parts thought "Let's really confuse things, measure it in Celsius"
  11. Cool thanks for the info. Wierd bite for sure, Mr largie's eating on the other side of the tracks where they should be. Interesting bite too, just slurping it. I would assume the lake was glass or close too it. I guess the pics display that too huh.. haha.. Why pass up the jerk and eat the topwater.. wierd, I guess it's what bugged them the most.
  12. Gordie, see those two lures. The green and black one. Take the black one and put it in a package that says "Cloudy". Take the green one and put it in the "Sunny" package. Now take that top water lure and put in the "dawn & dusk" package..... Wait a sec, that may actually sell... above is trademarked, copyright of plentyofphil.com
  13. I measure the day as a winner if I am able to put something together and dail a pattern down. If I don't, it challeges me to come back again and try. That's what I love. The hunt. As for bass, sure I can get 40 fish a day, maybe only a couple over 2lbs though. OR 6 or 7 bigguns for 8 hours. I lik'em big. Hero or Zero even while fun fishing for me. Do not use fishnig shows as a gauge to your fishing ability. Just don't.
  14. I found it way too limp. So I soaked it in some viagara and bingo - no more tip problems. Sorry, had to. Seriously, I used it once on a windy day and switched back to my regular power pro.
  15. I just found out I can fish Saturday!!! To bad you were not closer. I'd fish with ya. Love fishnig with new guys! Not to hijack, but Top Bass is on Trilakes this Sat if anyone with a ride wants to fish it with me. What the hey, worth a shot throwing it out.
  16. Buckhorn is still my personal fav. Pigeon a close second. Chemong is only good for simply getting to the other lakes IMO. Chemong drives me nuts, reminds me of scugog, but I can't dial in the shallow dukers there. I am fishing the emerald ilse again this year after a little hiatus, so I may have to try Chemong again. If you hear a guy cursing while fishing, come on over and say hi. As for the OP, sometimes to most obvious structure can be the most productive. Have an eye for rice beds and pads. Also, south end of Pigeon is deadly Bass and Muskie water. If fishing gets alittle tiresome, have a scoot over to the west shore of pigeon across from the narrows for some scenery. You should come across a sand bar. Not so good structure for fish, but awesome for cottagers that like to tan. Fish on!
  17. Vous Menteur! There's no bass in there.
  18. Epic. The top raider attack looks more like a defensive wound. Maybe a missed hookset then a spit hook??/?
  19. Great news!!! Tell Jen I'll hopefully have a chance to sign another lunch container for her soon!
  20. Thanks Dave. They named the right kid Harry. Looks pretty windy out too, I guess Kate had her heavy shoes on.
