I'd definately have to agree with the readout on the meter! Just kidding, you're a great resource to have on this board Wayne. You have wisdom beyond your years...and that's a lot of years Tony

Could we see a picture of the dented windshield?

Great Sailfishing down there...do some searching on the Internet

Ok, I'll look into it...I think the problem last year was that they remained on heat the whole day. It is better to just heat them as they are requested, shouldn't take too long on a hot grill since they are already completely cooked.

Thanks TJ...However, I would like to donate the Ticket to go into the prize lot for the Fishing for Tyler event Tony

I think you are one of the few people affected by 2-foot-itis.... but in the opposite direction The increased beam will always be more noticeable than the length...but any woman could have told you that I hope that I'm the next one posting pics of their new ride...soon I tell ya! Tony

Ditto...I got my Bouy-O-Bouy suit from Steve and it was $225 I think. I wouldn't buy another one though...going to go with the higher-end Mustang when I replace this one. Tony

Temagami Jan 25-27th Report with UPDATED PICS
tonyb replied to TroutnMuskieHunter's topic in General Discussion
I'm in shock! Great report and some real nice fish there! So maybe there ARE fish in Temagami? LoL -
Ryan, those are some great looking lures! and some interesting colour schemes that I haven't seen before either. I'll be looking forward to visiting your site when it comes online. 2 questions for ya... 1. What hooks are on the baits? My common complaint with most crankbaits is that the hooks typically need to be replaced right out of the package. Some companies are catching on, and I think it's a step in the right direction. 2. Will we be able to purchase these lures from your website? I have to agree with bricknblock, a classy gesture of you to get your lures into the hands of some quality anglers at the Tyler event. Tony

Lake Scugog - January 27th Report *with pics*
tonyb replied to gone_fishin's topic in General Discussion
Wow those are some excellent Green Pickerel! Was there yesterday morning with my brother and he managed 1 eye was well with a couple of panfish in the mix. We were on the water fishing by 7am and off the water at 10:00am then off to Simcoe for a Perch feed out of Virginia Beach. The walleye bite has drastically died-off since before the big melt a couple weeks ago on Scugog. I think the pressure has diminished the #'s on the lake. You figure about 100 people per day and everyone was limiting out early on so that is !1200 fish/day! I'm not sure how productive the lake is but I don't think too many walleye populations can handle that type of pressure for too long. The first time I was there is was non-stop action with the walleye, even double-headers, not anymore. Tony -
Any Charter advice for Punta Cana???
tonyb replied to silveradosheriff's topic in General Discussion
Looks like Dodo's 'Hoo's and Cuda's as well as some of the billed variety are available... Check out Punta Cana Deep Sea Fishing I'm sure there are others as well including the local fisherman and their pangas that are cheap. But the website I listed is one of the more reputable operators down there. Tony -
The shipping costs can outweigh the savings on smaller purchases so a good idea is to talk to your fishing buddies and combine your order so you can pay less overall on shipping. Gotta love Cabelas!

Well the project is coming along very nicely. It is pretty much completed on the exterior at this point. Still left to do is the electrical, insulating and finishing of the interior. I really like the idea of those rod holders, I'll probably be adding something like that for sure Pigeontroller. The next step is going to be finding a suitable tow vehicle (Pickup 4x4 V8) and then of course ordering the boat! I'm very pleased so far! Tony

That's humans for you...the only animal on the planet that destroys it's own habitat (And we're supposed to be the most intelligent) I find it interesting watching Les Strouds' Survivorman and he always mentions that no matter where you go on earth, regardless of how remote, your still bound to find garbage, sickening really... There is a Search feature on this site that is amazingly accurate.

It's nice to hear good news and service everyone once in a while....Thanks! Kudos to Lindy...they have some great products including my all time favorite Perch spoon...the Techni-Glo Frostee Jigging Spoon! Tony -
That's annoying HH!..it's funny how things have a way of working themselves out given enough time. Clearly the individual must not appreciate the job, and it should be handed over to someone who would...maybe you can hook up charlied? For anyone that is in a position of not being able to find work that pays more than $8/hr may I suggest going back to the drawing board so to speak? Take some courses/certifications that will make you much more marketable to employers, and also consider developing or giving some attention to your network of friends, colleagues, etc. More often than not, referrals are your foot in the door to land that next great job. Good luck, hopefully this person sees the writing on the wall about his tardiness and makes it easy by quitting... Tony

Ok...you didn't mention you are using modified gear lol! Some good infor there for sure...thanks for sharing! I figure a light egg sinker to a short lead and small hook and the fish can inhale the whole minnow and then move away with it without feeling any resistance.
