  1. Once you go electric, you'll wonder what took you so long to switch...they make cleaning fish much less of a chore, especially panfish! Tony
  2. You have chosen wisely!
  3. Wow that is a rare situation indeed...I haven't seen a better deal in ON compared to U.S. in a long time. Let's all hope they bring their ordering system to the Net so that they can truly compete for our business with the like of Cabela's... Tony
  4. Some riveting information here! Thanks Wayne
  5. Damn propoganda! I'm still buying a Lund though... So if you have the same thickness aluminum, rivets are prone to loosening/leaking and welds to cracking... I'd rather have a leak in a rivet, than a crack in a weld if I had to choose...I think Tony
  6. How many welded airplanes do you see?
  7. Yeah I hear ya T.J. Unfortunately it requires an upgrade to digital cable from my local cable company...too bad they don't have it on analogue cable, as it's almost double the price for digital...for just the 1 additional channel.
  8. Is there a "No purchase necessary" option for those of us who do not have WFN? Is the show available on-line? Tony
  9. Simple business rules...supply/demand They just aren't sold in the same quantities as baitcasters and spinning reels, yet they are a fraction of the cost to build. Frame, spindle, bearings and a spool that's it! Tony
  10. I'd say look into a J.W. Young Purist or Bob James if you are looking for a float reel with drag ($$$ though!). Here is the Bob James centre-pin: Otherwise, all the rest are drag-free models and the Aventa is a good starter reel. If you are looking for something a little higher in quality, you can't go wrong with an Islander... Okuma Aventa: and the Islander: Have fun Christmas shopping Tony Tony
  11. Can't please everyone all the time Gerritt...

  13. Way to come together to help a guy out :thimbsup_anim: The OFC 'Community' pulls through yet again! Tony
  14. Honestly...what did he think the outcome would be? Kayaking on Lake O in November with a gale force wind warning in effect...
  15. That is some slim water there! Nice looking fish though...
  16. Great to see you out away from the store and actually doing some fishing! Won't be too long now for some ice out your way Tony
  17. Sweet looking fish, I assume that these are all Canadian? I fished one NY Tributary on Saturday and got a handfull of browns. Fished locally Sunday at the mouth of a Lake O trib and got skunked... I wish the ON government would do more for the ailing Lake Ontario migratory fishery. I live 10 mins from a great tributary, but travel hours just to catch some fish.. Tony
  18. Very nice! Steelheading with snow on the ground is certainly what pops into my mind when I think fishing in Nov/Dec!
  19. Dom Rep. Cohiba Red Dot and Davidoffs Cuba - Cohiba Robusto's and Monte Cristo 4's Tony
  20. Call and ask for Doug and see if he can honour the 2 for 1 wings on whatever night we decide to bring him lots of business
