I am in same situation for second car, so far my choices are either a Nissan pathfinder 2004 and up, acura MDX 2004 and up, Ford TaurusX. You can also look for dodge journey. All of them have third row seating and plenty of space.

Last year @ lake Scugog I rented from island marina, you can go hourly or full day. Decent price and good service. Give them a shout first, usually at weekends they are sold out pretty fast. www.scugogislandmarina.ca
