A smoking question,not fish smoking. UPDATE NOV 05 14
Joey replied to misfish's topic in General Discussion
B, I just bought the Nicotine quick mist spray. Gonna give it a try next week. It was $51 so I hope it was worth it. I'll let you know. The mist cigs worked for about a week for me then did nothing -
I also agree with you Lew. Sometimes you get the good cop and sometimes you get the bad cop. Certainly not worth driving up to Sudbury court to fight it so they know you have not much choice. It's a shame some of them have to act that way, but sometimes they get the "God" complex and are better than everyone. Hope they sleep well at night

very impressive. I still think you're holding it out though

What's your favorite muskie top water bait
Joey replied to bigcreekdad's topic in General Discussion
My favorite top water musky bait is the one that brings the musky to the top of the water -
Wow, nice!!!

Glad you're home and had a great trip Lew. No matter the weather, it's always nice to be up there. That's the naked men cabin Saw your other pic with the first cast musky - awesome!!! Can't wait to see you two again. September right?

what song are you listening to right now???
Joey replied to fishing n autograph's topic in Non-Outdoors Open Discussion
Hahaha my mom wanted me to download this song for her to listen to the other day. Said it used to remind her of when we were (4 of us) were all teenagers living at home. I'm sure she did not mean me but mostly my brothers. Sure brought back some memories https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BIChSyoo7mY -

I take magnesium every day, but this seems to only affect me after a fishing trip. Weird.

Anybody ever get leg cramps after a week of fishing? I seem to suffer from them after the first few days after fishing if we go away for a week. Wakes me up in the middle of the night and they are paiinfull. Anybody, if you have a solution, I'd love to hear it! Joey

Wow, that sucks. Such a great actor and comedian.

Well once again, we had a fab time up at Maskinonge Lodge. Regan and Goldie are the best hosts and the cabins are great. We arrived after a trip from hell where right off the bat, the passenger side window broke, so we had to keep stopping to put paper in it or it would keep sliding down, which sucks on the highway. Then we got another flat (good thing we bought a new spare) and had to change it just before Barrie (which was a 3 hour drive just from Richmond Hill). So, lets just say, the drive up was unpleasant and ended up being 6 hours instead of the usual 3 1/2 to 4 hrs. Just as we were pulling into the camp, I saw the Sandhill Cranes I have been trying to get a picture of for a long time. Paul stopped for me and I went running to get a picture, which of course scared them, so these were the best I could get as they took off. IMG_6806 by Joeyfishing, on Flickr IMG_6814 by Joeyfishing, on Flickr IMG_6846 by Joeyfishing, on Flickr IMG_6843 by Joeyfishing, on Flickr Fishing was not as good as the weeds are still not up as high as normal. But Paul did manage to get a nice 46" musky and my son got a few pike. I got a few pike aswell, but as usual, the cameraman never gets any pics taken of themselves. IMG_1454 by Joeyfishing, on Flickr I think he's happy in this picture IMG_1452 by Joeyfishing, on Flickr My son and his mini pike IMG_1461 by Joeyfishing, on Flickr Another one a bit bigger, which we kept for the fish fry. Thanks Patsy for doing the major work on that. Ralphie loves when we catch fish IMG_1465 by Joeyfishing, on Flickr IMG_7133 by Joeyfishing, on Flickr We got a huge thunderstorm and barely made it back to camp. It rolled in and gave us a good light show. IMG_7284 by Joeyfishing, on Flickr IMG_7240 by Joeyfishing, on Flickr Thought this cloud looked cool after the storm with the sun behind it IMG_7288 by Joeyfishing, on Flickr Some random shots IMG_6889 by Joeyfishing, on Flickr IMG_6863 by Joeyfishing, on Flickr IMG_6857 by Joeyfishing, on Flickr Osprey fishing IMG_7177 by Joeyfishing, on Flickr IMG_7077 by Joeyfishing, on Flickr A turtle I assume IMG_7043 by Joeyfishing, on Flickr IMG_6987 by Joeyfishing, on Flickr IMG_6958 by Joeyfishing, on Flickr But, we had a great time and are already planning on going back up for the fall bite in September. Could not have had better company than we had and can't wait to do it all again next year. Thanks all for such a good time. Thanks Regan and Goldie for the BBQ and for being such awesome camp owners. I think your place is going to do well. We will definitely be back. Joey

Super report Rich. I'm still working on my pictures (sigh) and should have a report up either late tonight or in the morning. Had a great time all and can't wait to see you all again. It was a fantastic time.

Well I'm speechless. I just watched it several times and I don't think he hit him intentionally. Even though you all know Tony is my guy, those cars are not easy to control. Why would he get out on a dark racetrack and confront a vehicle?

Happy birthday Roy, hope you have the best day hon. Joey

Awesome. She's really growing up into a beautiful little lady and quite the fisherman!
