  1. Well, see know nothing about size, I just know it works
  2. I have it on my iphone, my fave is "The wind and the wires made a tattle tale sound" I've heard that on the lines our our rods when it's windy!
  3. We still have a milk crate of old albums (78's I assume), the big ones. David Bowie etc. the old stuff. And in fact a turntable if you can believe it
  4. Well that sounds good to me Pete, will have to call both and see who can outbid the other
  5. Agreed, had Shaw when I lived in Calgary and never had an issue. The fetal position, you just made me laugh to tears
  6. Okay, sigh, yes, I have to do the 20 sec unplug thing at least twice a week. Unfortunately I bought this box so really, it's not their's, it's mine now. Freshtrax just sent me a PM with some info so I'll call him and see what I can do. Just frustrating is all. Paul's parent's had Bell up at the cottage and it worked in good weather, but when it rained or got windy, it would also go out, so not sure what to do. Joey
  7. Every time I try to watch something that I missed, I search for it on my Rogers box and then when I find it, the box shuts down and I have to wait about 5 minutes for it to come back on. Any thoughts on if I should change to Bell? Are there any Bell happy customers on here?
  8. Throw a worm on a hook, cast it in, let it sit (secure your rod) and wait. Used to fish rainbows in the Bow River in Calgary like that. Caught one every time good luck!
  9. Jeez Cliff, sorry to hear that. I've seen the videos. Once that ice gets moving in your direction, trouble can only follow.

Well that sucks hon. Yesterday was a kerfuffle too. I marinated a nice prime rib roast for the spit, got it all set up and ready to go and guess what, no propane. I've got 3 tanks and all were empty, so there was no rotation. Had to do the old oven version - not the same

  11. Good old Reliance, they screwed us over too. Can't give you any advice, sorry, but they are a bad company to deal with.

  19. Not sure what you mean by 78s? I think they are 10 inch if that's what you mean?
  20. He also kept all the newspapers from when JFK was killed and I have those too, in mind condition
  21. There are at least 15 vinyl albums in each folder, all in A1 condtition. Kinda cool If you're into Stan Kenton that is IMG_0192 by Joeyfishing, on Flickr
  22. That didn't explain it very well, so he he kept them all in a vinal container, with about 12 albums each, all separated and in excellent condition, in about 3 containers
  23. Actually, when dad passed away, I got a booklet of about 12 vinal albums of Stan Kenton and his orchestra. I'm gonna hang on to them for awhile , but there are at least 30 of them. As in 12 albums of vinal discs.
