Don't worry about it Lew, I once put brake fluid in my windshield washer basin. Paul had stored the brake fluid in a couple of windshield washer containers in the garage. As I was pouring it in I thought, gosh, this is awful thick, but continued on. Of course when cleaning the windshield, it was a big, goopy mess. Paul had to drain it all and do a bunch of work to clean out the system - ooops. I blame him, he should have labelled the containers!!!

Our neighbourhood also looks out for each other. They know our shifts and what cars are supposed to be in the driveway. We basically take note of anything out of the ordinary and watch each other's backs so don't be too concerned about that. As for him coming into the back yard uninvited, I would be a bit uneasy about that. If it were me, being a female, I would see if he does it again and if so, I would in no uncertain terms let him know that it is unacceptable to do that and unless invited, please stay out of our yard. I would be nice about it but firm. If he continued to do it after that I would have to get nasty and/or call the police. Good luck and keep us updated!!

As the old saying goes, well at least you got out Good for you for making it 2 hours. I could only muster up enough energy to walk the dog a few times, and it was miserable.

Used to go there all the time to Lighthouse Campground and Cottages. Fishing is decent, pike, pickerel, bass. The shoreline is shallow though. We had the Tracker back then and usually had to get in waist deep to get the boat in and out on and off the trailer. There is also a launch right off of 518, but it's almost the same, shallow and hard to launch, but I found it worth it. Great little lake and had many a good time fishing/camping/renting a cabin there. Good luck.

I've run into a few black bears in my Elliot Lake days when I was a kid. They ran from me so most definitely, they are usually harmless. They just wanted apples from the tree. The townsite would just trap them in big bear traps and relocate them. No need to kill any animal that is not a threat. Cool pics Lew. Probably is the same bear
