Perhaps leave a bit and take out the rest and put it into a high savings account...and what will be will be. As we know....life is full of could haves and should haves. All the best.

I agree with telling the truth....but I also feel that too much can be too harmful. Perhaps he has thought about what went wrong while he was with you. You know....often what goes on at home is played out at work. The best you can do is answer the questions. Definitely mention his strengths and if there is a question that surfaces regarding his ability to work as a team player, well then that's where you can elaborate a bit....ending it by saying that it's quite possible he may have improved on that. I just think that in these hard times....the man has a possible employer checking his references...it looks good for him. Good Luck

I hear ya! and I'm with ya! That's why I often come here with questions...being a woman (and blonde at that) I am often "taken". Recently I met a guy (I'll call him Bobby) who use to sell cars for a living...was very good at it (years ago)...anyway...I asked him if when I co-signed on a Jetta last year and it never left the lot when I called to cancel, was the law on my side? He said yes. But, at the time the guy I was dealing with at the dealership told me no...I had no choice..and was stuck with the car. Bobby starts to snicker when I am tell him this story and tells me that this happens all the time...especially if a woman comes in on her own...they prey on one's ignorance...and often use scare tactics, especially if you have signed on the dotted line. Well wouldn't ya know that sweet Karma caught up to Bobby and he has had to claim personal bankruptcy in the tune of $450,00.00 It was my turn to snicker.

Just a suggestion...but something just a little different to offer can make all the difference. For example....having more to offer for the women...such as: a course of fly tying (hands on stuff)...that would certainly interest me. And that other nice thing that one gentleman does here on OFC...I forget the right terminology for it but he customizes rods...beautiful work...I'd be interested in that as well. Too cute....but you can have that 'Puppy Stage'! And just a bit of a caution...when we got our Puppy (years ago), I ended up with a very nasty, nasty infection in my sinus. It took over a year to detect as the pain was being felt in a tooth. So...after the regular dentist then a specialist and then a final specialist (grumpy old man) who told me to lay off the advil (was taking 2 every 4 hours for a year) and to see my doc. They were quite surprised with the x-ray and put me on heavy duty antibiotics for 21 days. I finally was able to put the advil away after 14 days on the meds. Give him a good bath when you get him home.

hahaha....why yes it is the same thing...it was early and I was hurting. I was basically told to go home.. Anyway...I am hungry, so I'm eating...then a little doh doh. Thanks everyone...hope no one else gets this...especially the Lakair crew!!

Nice...congrats to your Dad on his PB. I've learnt to let the older folks win...they get rather cranky if they don't. Take mine for example....they won't go home unless they take my quarters with them.

I often get great little funnies at work....here's one THE WEATHER Saturday morning I got up early, dressed quietly, made my lunch, grabbed the dog, slipped quietly into the garage to hook the boat up to the truck, and proceeded to back out into a torrential downpour. The wind was blowing 50 mph. I pulled back into the garage, turned on the radio, and discovered that the weather would be bad throughout the day. I went back into the house, quietly undressed, and slipped back into bed. There I cuddled up to my wife's back, now with a different anticipation, and whispered, 'The weather out there is terrible.' My loving wife of 20 years replied, 'Can you believe my stupid husband is out fishing in that c ra p? I still don't know to this day if she was joking, but I've stopped fishing.

I was a lurking datesite gal....got hooked there...was released here. I was even proposed to here...some of you may remember that? This site is not only a source of information regarding fishing (so new to me) but for all the other questions I have had that were nonfishing related and in which have helped me tremendously. Mostly...I enjoy reading...it's just a nice place to be....some of you are so entertaining.
