  6. OK At the very least I should pull the hubs and check the bearings etc. Thanks Rick
  7. Mine has not been repacked for 2 years So that's another item on the to do list Next question trailer has 5 seasons on it Should I replace all bearings and races? Where is a good place to purchase bearings?
  8. Bearing buddies are not repacking. I have bearing buddies but the bearings still need to be repacked. Just not sure how often Fisherman's process of yearly is likely the best But is that overkill?
  9. I am referring to a boat trailer. Single axle about 2800Lbs total weight
  10. By mileage or length of time or how long your trips Whats your criteria?
  11. FishFinder Temagami would be my first recommendation But barring that have you considered going East? Sturgeon lake can be a long, monotonous high fuel consumption ride Going East , Buckhorn,Lovesick.Burliegh Falls, Stoney is way more scenic better fishing and lots more spots to anchor out The locks are good overnight places but the other boaters would not likely really appreciated your partying!!! and as this being a bachelor get together with 11 guys I am assuming there will be 1 case on board!!! and some tunes. Just a precaution Be very careful with the alcohol when travelling and be sure your captain is a DD as the OPP do spot checks and sometimes breath tests at the locks. Have 'FUN' Play safe Cheers Rick
  12. Hey Chris Not a good time of year for swimming!!! As Gallie said the adrenaline rush can give ya 'wings' The 'little' fella is growing He will love this summer at the lake Cheers Rick

  17. Hey Bunk Good for you on fulfilling a dream and keeping life challenging I am sure the 'Guide' can make or break a trip. You would be a good one! Remember 'Memories' last forever Thanks for taking the time to post that report, Thoroughly enjoyed it all. Cheers Rick
  18. Hey Mike First off Huge Congrats!! Well done! As for online reports before or after the mag. I really think as you have said, since your reports will be a small percentage of the mag contents. People will 'not' be subscribing just to read your reports. So as suggested maybe an online teaser/abbreviated report and then something in the mag followed by a full online report. Would be my preference. However I hope you never do away with your online reports. The pics and videos tell a huge part of the story and add big time!! I would think adding pics in your mag would be space limiting Its your online reports that have me booking another fly in fishing trip!! LOL I luv it!! Cheers Rick
  19. Yes Doug That Nils auger with the Tanaka power head is the best of the best but it does come with a big pri$$$$$e tag
  20. Send the Shimanos to Peterborough. Go to the Shimano website and print out a work order. They will be back better than new in about 2 weeks

  22. Hi Mike A fantastic report!! Pics and videos are great I am really enjoying your videos. The camp location is about perfect. The more reports I read and people I talk to, about Mattice Lake Outfitters . I am getting a very clear impression MLO is definitely a step above the rest. Moose Crossing would be a long run for sure Lots of times June 'Hot' spots are not necessarily Sept Hot spots!! But it could be a June hot spot and a Sept, really really hot spot Ya never know till ya try. Thanks for taking the time to do a very extensive report Cheers Rick
