Yes Illegal but doable Same as 90kmh in a 80kmh. Its illegal but people do it. You can find the Fuel KEG in Menards

You can refill them but they are really not refillable. You need to fill a few times as there is no way to vent the air The Fuel KEG would repay for itself in one winter or less.

The KEG is advertised at $20. That would be US dollars Doable if it works, I guess thats the chance you would have to take.

You could be right, re maybe they are not legal in Canada yet! That ring/valve is a slight issue but you need it to let air out I think it would take some turning to release the gas but I would need to check that out.
