I bought a new 150 HP Yamaha last summer and it had a "Made in Japan" sticker on it. When I picked it up from the dealer they threw in a ball cap with the Yamaha logo on it but inside the cap was a "Made in China" sticker. It just struck me a really funny that even Japan is having some of their stuff manufactured "off shore"

I don't have any personal experience with this company or know anything about them, but I've been seeing their houseboats on the Kawarthas for years. It's a place to start your search anyways. http://www.houseboat.on.ca/

Watched CTV this morning and it showed the trailer park where 40 odd house trailers were destroyed, but there were no deaths or serious injuries. Unbelievably lucky.

It's pretty obvious that Mister Bear was a wonderful friend to you Jer, and I'm sure he felt the same about you. Always a terrible day when we have to make that decision, but we know we're doing the best for our pals. That was a beautiful tribute to your friend. I live on a dirt road and was driving along it while listening to the quake report on Peterboro radio but didn't feel anything..... Gotta luv the suspension on an F-150 I got home a couple minutes later and my wife said everything was shaking in the house.

I also got a look earlier today, perhaps it was just a teaser of what's to come

Thanks Joe, lotsa good pictures there. I really missed being there this year but like I said earlier, I'll be heading up there in 11 days so that sorta takes the sting out. Looks like Kevin has done a good job of extending the docks to deeper water. Seems like a much smaller group this year. Hard to believe how low that water is compared to other years and I'll bet you and Art were the only 2 that felt safe running around there with the jetboat, eh ?? That rig of yours would shine in that skinny water. Did you get up into the Muskrats or West Bay area at all ??.... just wondering if the weeds are sparce up there as well.

the-instructor already explained that this fish was caught in zone 15, NOT 17 and is a legal fish to keep. Unfortunately, this post has been altered and some responses have been deleted so now it's hard to figure out what's going on

That's great Brian, really nice clear pictures. I used to have a cheapo still camera that would supposedly take pictures underwater. I thought it would be good to take some nice release shots of fish beside the boat but nothing ever turned out for me. Story of my life
