  1. Pictures ??
  2. Very impressive work indeed Roy !! You've been turning out some really nice baits in the last few years.
  3. I've always purchased the 3 year sport simply because of the convenience.
  4. Rather than having a bunch of folks guestimating a price, why not call some furnace companies for an exact cost ??
  5. Congrats on the new boat, sounds like a beaut. My bud has had a 17' Princecraft with a 115 Evinrude for quite a few years now and he's really happy with it and has never had an issue with anything.
  6. Good news to hear your feeling better and I'll bet seeing your daughter after awhile had alot to do with it !!
  7. Some really nice chunky fish there, well done !!
  8.
  9. Probably all those pesky rivets causing the problem
  10. Google Chrome for me and no problems.
  11. Thanks for that Roy
  12. That's a good looking set-up Dax, nice & neat. I did the same on my last boat Roy, if the live well isn't being used for fish, it can serve as lure storage.
  13. I drove a Crestliner for 8 or 9 years and it was an excellent boat. Sold it to a friend who's had it for 3 years now and it's still an excellent boat. I'm on the water more than most folks and never had an issue with it. I know a few others with Crestliners and their all happy with theirs too. Never owned a Smokercraft but have fished out of a couple and they seem like good boats too.
  14. I also bought my current boat at the show on the agreement the dealer store it for me at his place for the winter and have it all rigged & ready when I picked it up in May, which they did.
  15. About 3 years between my last 2 fishing reports Art.
  16. Even if you don't find any bargains at the Boatshow it's still a great way to spend an afternoon. Always lotsa good stuff to look at and see what's new on the market. Just be careful though, cause if you lose your willpower it can become a VERY expensive day.
  17. 3 years on my Fortrex now and I couldn't find a negative about if I tried and it's by far the best trolling motor I've ever had. 62" shaft & 80 pound thrust takes me anywhere I want to go, even into the strongest winds and heaviest weeds and the lift assist makes it effortless to stow or deploy. Built in transducer for my front sonar is pretty slick too. As mentioned by Bob though, it all depends on the style of fishing you do and features you want.

  19. Storage becomes somewhat more of a problem when the baits are larger than bass sized lures. I use Tupperware type boxes and just lay the baits on top of each other and sort them out as needed. I normally only carry what I need so the tangles aren't usually too bad.
  20. We used to do alot of fishing around an island in Bay Of Quinte just north of the ferry. Eventually the cormorants discovered it and took up residence on the end of the island and within 2 years everything was white with their excrement and all the trees they used appeared dead. A few years back there was a cull in the area and if I recall correctly they eliminated 6000 birds. There were no longer ant birds on the island and the trees regained their foliage and to see them today you'd never know there was any sort of problem. Just thought some may find that interesting.
  21. That says it all right there Kelvin
  22. Anybody can do it...ANYBODY...but 1st off you need to convince yourself that you really WANT to quit. If your not 100% committed to stopping you'll have a very hard time. Once you realize why you want to quit and what the benefits are, it actually becomes very easy.
  23. That'd be worth the price of admission just to see that
  24. You may actually have a problem returning it now that you've drilled holes in it and applied glue to some parts. Be interesting to hear how you make out and best of luck with it.
