That's odd that you can't pull your boat up a ramp in 2wd. Is the boat too heavy for your vehicle or do the rear wheels just spin.

To be honest davey, I never buy anything used so I'm not the guy to ask, but for sure there's plenty of honest guys selling good used gear. With a bit of footwork, I'm sure you'll find a good deal.

My Fortrex shaft is 60" and I'm sure the electric steer models will come as long or even longer.

I fished Quinte for many many years Joe, but it was always in May and we always fished after dark. Minnow baits like Rapalas & Bomber Long "A"s in black/white and blue/white always produced and waaaaay back in the day we used Pikie minnows and did well with them too. Preferred areas to fish was shallow mud flats close to shore. Don't know if those tactics would work in the fall, but just thought I'd toss it into the ring.

As you know Joey, I spent 5 weeks at Lakair this year, and never once saw either the CO's or the police on the water so it's good to see their still there. Pretty nice boat the CO's are using now too cause they normally run around in that green Crestliner.
