  1. +1 Got it on my 16th bday from my dad... I still use it !!! Keep it clean and treat her well and she will last forever.. i will never sell it...maybe a semi one day but my 870 does the job very well!

  3. Hi all, For years we have stored our boat at the marina and at the end of the season we would clean all the algae / slime off the hull with toilet bowl cleaner. Always did a great job and had no ill effects on the hull. Now we are looking at getting an aluminum boat and wondered if the same toilet bowl cleaner can be used on an allumnium hull? My worry is that the cleaner would strip the coating/decal on the aluminum. ( we are looking at princecraft/lund) Thoughts??

  5. Hi all, Buddy at worked offered to join him at his cottage in may. Ofcourse i want to bring the boat How is davis lake? hes not a fisherman, so all he said to me was there a couple bass in the lake..lol Anything decent to fish for in May or best bet to try gull/head/4 mile or even balsam instead. Thanks!
  6. good post!! Yesterday on a local lake... we were coming in from the softwater when some guy was fishing on shore... Standing right beside the NO FISHING sign ..lol too funny ... complete moron

  8. i repack and check my trailer bearings once a year.. I did them over the winter... needed fresh grease but the bearings were still intact

Well i know someone with a private lake and some yahoo said the same thing to them while driving down their private road for 3 kms and parking on their private beach and trying to laucnch his boat in a lake that has NEVER seen a gas motor. The guy quickly left once they threatened to call the police and charge him with trespassing.

  14. on the couple lots I hunt on,,, ive never found a shed,,, eventhough there are lots of deer by the time i go for a walk in late april.. Most i assume are chewed up

  17. Nice report!... My brother had the same problem with Kasha lodge owner years ago... almost started a fight over NOTHING... they quickly left and went to another resort....the guys a nutjob
  18. have a place in the area...the last couple years have been REALLY tough through the ice...to the point most are not bothering with it. Last year we had 5 guys running and gunning for 2 days... ended up with 1 3lb trout.. other local guys said the same In the summer ive only targeted bass and there is a decent population.. Mostly in the 1-2lb range
