I stay in during winter. I sharpen hooks and dream about fishing in the spring/summer/fall...... -

I'm a righty. I use a right hand baitcaster, I tried the lefty side but just could not get the hang of it. So I cast switch and retrieve. I use my left to retrieve with spinning gear. Go figure, I sure can't. -
Nice!!!!

Merry Christmas. This year was tough at our house too, we lost my dad in the late spring and it wasn't the same without him. Christmas is about spending time with family and remembering those that have left us.

Vinyl is nice for easy cleaning. The ONLY problem with it is it gets hot in the sun, can't barefoot it in the boat on hot sunny days. Other than that, it makes for the best floor covering for marine purposes IMHO.

Xylitol is lethal to dogs. As for chocolate, milk chocolate probably won't kill them but they will be up peeing a lot, a lot of milk chocolate could cause kidney damage, dark chocolate however is VERY BAD. A few ounces of it could be all it takes to kill Fido.

That's a serious supertanker musky there Bunk!! Great Job!!!

Any good quality synthetic motor oil that meets the specs will do the job just fine. I use Motomaster synthetic gear oil in my lower unit, better than the semi synthetic stuff marinas use. I run whatever 20w50 dyno oil I find on special in my i/o, the key being yearly oil changes.

Quantum Hot Sauce. I use that s....t on all my reels. The oil and the grease. It made my cheaper Abus a heck of a lot smoother. If you fi d it, it is worth the price.

Car insurance recommendations for Mississauga Area

If you have a squeaky clean record, check with Allstate. They take the best drivers and give the best rates. Brokers hate them because of this. The more products you buy, the more you save. Bundle home and auto. -
Mine is away for the year. Every mechanic that has ever gone near my lower unit has always cheaped out and gone with either Dino or semi synthetic. I always use synthetic. Canadian Tire being the best source. You don't want water in those lowers boys. The condition of the gear oil speaks volumes about the condition of your lower unit.

With a couple of logs burning and your bevvie of choice, many an enjoyable evening will be spent there. A light directly over the table adds to the ambiance. Just saying.

Stabil. I use it from Labour Day weekend on. Seafoam is more of a cleaner than a stabilizer.

Good to hear he's OK.

RIP Kevin. My condolences to his family and friends.

I store mine outside under a tarp up at the cottage. I built a frame out of scrap lumber that is tall enough to not let snow build up on it. As for critters, I have never really given them a thought. I think this winter I will go the Irish Spring route.

The police have been handcuffed. Street checks kept the criminals on their toes. Now they carry all the time.

The problem we face is with illegally acquired handguns. Unless every single vehicle that crosses the border gets taken apart, it will be very difficult to stem the flow of pistols coming over the border. I was in a Cabela's in Buffalo a couple months ago, there were literally hundreds of handguns in a display. Here in Canada, there are few places where you will see long guns on display, never mind handguns. Making legally acquired guns harder to get is not the answer. I am not sure what the answer is.

Lots of character there!!! Nice catch!!

The joys of boat ownership. So far so good this year. Last year was expensive, bellows, Gimbel bearing and a water pump. I also need new deep cycles for the Tm which I rarely use.

Not a bad haul of 'eyes..... Those jigs look pretty cool. -
Buggers took a couple of chunks out of me on Sunday while cutting the grass up at the cottage. Couple more weeks to bass season in Muskoka.....

Buddy heater. 2 deep cycles for light and DEFINITELY a CO detector. Crack a couple windows and you'll be fine in there.
