  1. I've never heard that either. I'm quite sure that that's not the case. Unless of course you want to count salmon. They take a swim up the river to spawn and once done, they die! I consider that excellent incentive to not muck around with the neighbour eh?
  2. Still colouring in the 5th grade. No wonder the kids are mixed up.
  3. Super looking bait, Ric! Here's a link. http://ontariofishin...opic=57594&st=0
  4. Which Rubbermaid bins are you referring to? You'd need a screened bottom and sides.
  5. It's called the Toronto Harbour License. It's a 4 hour course and will cost you $129. Previous boating experience is a prerequisite.
  6. OH Jeeeeeeeeeeeez, TJ is gunna love you! Congrats to you.
  7. They're looking for someone with a boater's card. I think that's called setting the bar way too high. Good luck to all postulants.
  8. Really nice to hear from you Ric. Looks like you've settled in there just fine.
  9. Probably the nicest fish I've seen this year, G-Man. I wish I could catch one of those. Congrats to you!
  10. Yes, that's an excellent report, thank you. A small portion of Champlain is in Quebec. Most border States have agreements of reciprocity as far as fishing permits go. I have always read that Champlain was consistently ranked in the top ten US bass destinations. It's a great lake. Thanks again for taking the time to post your report.
  11. Thanks Steve, good stuff. It's really impressive to see the size of the snacks they're hitting.
  12. It's your birthday AGAIN Norm? Didn't you just have one of those? Have a great day my friend.
  13. Congrats to you and your wife, Rob. You might want to start looking at left handed baitcasters for her.
  14. Hope you had a great day, Wayne. Many more to you.
  15. Rainbows will live out their lives in the stream, river or lake where they hatched. Steelhead, while genetically the same fish, are sea run or in the case of Ontario, lake run. These fish spend their lives in the Great Lakes and swim up the tribs to spawn. Steelhead get to be larger than rainbows and are generally more streamlined.
  16. Welcome aboard. Looking forward to your input.
  17. Lew, does your ignition key need to be in ACC. or RUN position for these things to work? If you're hotwiring and it's working...well....??
  18. You didn't date yourself but you certainly gave us a good indication as to which type of parties you hang out at.
  19. YIKES! Great shot Simon.
  20. You can throw a few of your "no salmon" days my way anytime! Beauty brownies! Thanks for sharing.
  21. I have a Princecraft and last year installed new trailer bunks. The wider apart the bunks are, the better support you'll have for your boat. There's probably more info here than you'll need but this site should help you with most of your questions. Read all 5 steps, some don't apply to your specific question but it's still an interesting read. Good luck. http://www.shorelandr.com/pages/pf_trstep1.htm
  22. Railway running a little earlier this year Cliff? That's great news. Enjoy!
  23. Yeah, I'll agree with Paul on this one.
  24. I got a GoPro Hero on February 14th but I haven't been out with it...yet. Tons of accessory mounts and such to look at. Something else to do for this summer. And yeah, Kodak is officially out of the camera business. A hard blow to those of us who grew up calling a camera a Kodak. Hey Agnes! Fido's taking a dump, get the Kodak!
  25. Like clockwork.
