  1. This has just become another thread that does not belong on this board. I'm sure you can find many discussion forums who would welcome all insights on gays rights, political direction and religious conviction. This is not one of them. Thanks guys.
  2. Very nice to see you out and about, Rob. I can't help you with that lake either but I'm sure you'll be getting some info here and by private message. Don't be a stranger.
  3. Well that takes care of this thread. It started off well enough although these threads don't usually last more than a few minutes. The same people spoiled it. I really don't have the time nor inclination to read every post here but it seems to be getting to be a necessity. Sinker, have a real nice fishing season. Night folks. ps. Sinker, don't forget to brush your tooth.
  4. Yeah, ok, don't use anything. Just clean it.
  5. Never had a problem with mine. I have the same taper locks. Keep them reasonably clean (as in once a year) and add a small dab of grease or even vaseline on the spring lock. You'll never have a problem.
  6. Great report and wonderful outing for you and your brother, Andrew, Thanks for that.
  7. You should have purchased them at Canadian Tire, Cliff.
  8. Glad you had a good time, Norm. Minus the doc appointments of course.
  9. Love these Jack reports, Simon. They always remind me of : "You can learn so much from the face of a child. Especially the mouth part of the face." Thanks for sharing your adventures.
  10. Sounds great. I hope you washed your fingers first eh?

    Trout fun

Wow! Those pics are just super and so clear! Thanks so much for posting them Mike.
  12. Spectacular! I don't know what the nipply looking thing is at the lower right of the pic. Almost looks like the top of an orange...a fruit of some sort. Is there a name for that geographic feature of the moon?
  13. Nice clean job, Cliff. Congratulations, you'll be really happy with that.
  14. I'd say that if you didn't catch anything, her fish counts big time. Edited to add: And look at the gloves on that woman! WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!
  15. Chad, IMHO, 40 years ago, Fenwick made quality sticks and were a rod to have in any arsenal. Today, not so much. If as you say, you're hard on your equipment, I'd move to another brand. Almost any brand. I'm sure that a lot of people like them but I just can't trust them anymore.
  16. Musta been windy at some point. Skin it, cut it up in 16" knotless lengths, let them dry and we'll make some baits. As for my sweetie, we have room for her on team#1. Glad you're getting out and about and thanks for the pics.
  17. What Lew said. If this keeps up, we'll be wearing surgical suits, gloves, masks and hair nets to release our fish. If you're not sure about the gloves you can always go with the fingerless ones. Also, if you're that concerned, you can go hookless eh?
  18. Good stuff Dax. I took out most of the irrelevant stuff as it was just making a good thread bad. To the others who have a problem with how this board is run, PM or email one of the mods. Putting it on here is just tacky and serves no purpose. Thanks for understanding.
  19. Ok Brian and Betty, time to dance. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/p8jJ1ORIOes" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  20. Not to mention the vanity mirror on the driver's side.
  21. Both Kirkland and EverStart batteries are manufactured by Johnson Controls. There are basically only 3 manufacturers of 12volt automotive/marine batteries. Go with the retailer's after sales service. I've had good luck with Energizer/Everstart in the DC grp 27 bracket.
  22. Fallfishand nice cats.
  23. Nope. You really do not want to see where those things live and how they are handled before you eat them. Several documentaries about that.
  24. AHHHHHH I knew Bob was the go to guy for that area. Good stuff.
