  1. I have the the same charger and mine did the same, light came on red overload. I unplugged the charger and disconnected the battery. There is a rocker switch that says maintenance free deep cycle. make sure its set on deep cycle. Then I hooked it all back up and it was good to go. Hope that works for you unless there is other issue's.
  2. Just don't buy a CRACKER!!
  3. Man, you got a nice place. Couldn't be better than with the family. I see you burning the Sat Dish. With a place like that who would want to watch TV Thanks for sharing
  4. Come to the big hammer. Me and Chris will take you out Salmoning or Rainbowing for your "B"Day, we mite have to go for a big feed of wings and beer after If you can't make it tomorrow, Me and Chris mite have to celebrate your "B" Day with out you . Happy Birthday
  5. Nice fish, you just saved some Perchies lives.
  6. 2 of my best baits, CC Shad, Ripplin Redfin. 3 for, where.
  7. Billy Bob makes a good point. What little your going to save on gas, go full size pickup with a V8 , motor doesn't work as hard plus more room. Sounds like your trying to talk yourself into something that "may" work. Some day your going to a ramp were your going to gamble launching, should I or not. Plus, hope it doesn't happen, You have to stop on a dime pulling boat, gear with some bud's, "if I only had a heavier truck" Your only this way once, go in comfort, be safe,
  8. Years ago the commercial fisherman on Eire used corn cobs for smoking fish.
  9. Brian, The other day I put my chicken on a beer can chicken rack but, I didn't use a beer in it, I just filled a pop can with water. Using beer is just a waste Then I cut up some ceder deck boards in little 2" chunks and wrapped them in tin foil, I threw a few chucks at a time on the gas burner rack to smoke. When the chicken was done, it was fantastic. I also did this with back ribs. I kept the pan of the can rack filled with water so the drippings wouldn't burn in the bottom. I thought using a ceder plank cooking fish was good, I'd try the little chunks cooking meat. Wrapping the chunks in foil keeps the ashes from going all over, throw away when they stop smoking and replace with new.
  10. "Bass" Formulas from fishing clubs. L X L X L divided by 1600 or L X G X G divided by 800
  11. Sounds like a fuel problem to me also. Your talking Mariner, so it's not that late of a model. I had OMC's for years and had almost the same thing happen. The connection on the hose that connects to the motor had a rubber O Ring inside that got nicked, a very small nick in the O ring you could hardly see. It caused an air leak which sucked air. Have a look, it could be your sucking air some place in the fuel line hose or clamps. Not sure about Mariner but the older OMC's had fuel diaphram, could be that also. Remember cheaper first. Good luck.
  12. If your looking for derby fish, stay in under 100 FTW. In a Yak you say, sounds like fun. Just make sure you tell someone were your at, don't take chances. Try staying close to other boats in close just encase you get in trouble. Spoons do work and deep diving body baits. I can't visual a rigger on a Yak. I'd love to see your setup. Fish out past the rifle range 75 to 100 FTW. down 35 to 50 is a good start, early or late in the day is a must. Man, Id like to see you get a screamer in a yak Hang on bud your going for a ride. Just be careful out there. Carry a Cel with you. tell the girl at the gate your plans and get there phone # also tell a few of the old boys that sit at the picnic table playing cards sometime if there. They're over by the bigger boats geared up with riggers. If you see the wind start to kick, get off. If I'm there, I'll keep an eye or ear on you,if you see a blue and white Princecraft come and ask me for my cel # Names Dave (Flipper) or Fish Farmer.
  13. Police: How come you were running away from us. Victim: Because I read something on the Internet
  14. I guess in the other mishap, police are exempt to use the tether cord. I feel so much safer now that we are being patrolled by the Canada's best Keystones . I'm good to go now because I have my operators card . I wonder if they paid there Eco-fee for all the hazardous waste. Seems to be a lot off exemptions here.
  15. Skeeter and all involved. Thats great, you guys should be proud of your efforts, I praise you guys . Nice to see kids having such good times in the outdoors, you guys made it possible. Now that's what it's really all about. As Spiel said pat yourselves on the back.
  16. Thanks Harry, you tell me this when I'm going to L.Ont. today. I mite have to turn the boat around. Thanks for sharing. I think my day will be fishing till I get fried on the lake then hitting the Attic for Wings and Beer after. I'll have to hit that smokehouse one day, sounds good to me.
  17. Thanks for sharing, that looks like a great spot, no cottages to ruin the scenery.
  18. The last picture looks like an Atlantic From the spots on the slide and one on the gill cover. I could be wrong, Hard to tell on the picture. Nice fish boys. That fish sure will be tasty on the smoker.
  19. Thanks for posting, that one largie is a hog
  20. Just a heads up, a guy told me once never use Oak on aluminum, you get a chemical reaction. there must be a reason they use plywood.
  21. Thanks for the tips bigugli, you just saved the day I sometimes water at night . Give the plants a shake, I'll be giving that a try, thanks again.
  22. Man" that Garlic looks good, peppers to. Leechman I planted Ox-heart tomatoes this year also, couldn't find plants so I did the seed thing. My plants are about a foot now. you don't hear many people mention Ox-heart. Have you grown them before? Do they pollinate with the other types? Someone told me that you should only grown one type of tomato because they get mixed up and get funny shaped. I see you have wire around. You must get pestered with Rabbits. Nice looking garden
  23. I stayed in the 90 to 100 FTW, down 40' to 45' on the rigger, 30' back, speed 3.2 to 3.5 mph. Disco, I have 4 of those seats, by next week I may need 4 more.
  24. Just DON'T buy a Tracker (CRACKER) All I can say is Bay City in Hamilton. Bought 6 boats, and motors I can't count how many. But thats the closest dealer for me and I found them the cheapest. Just my opinion
  25. I just used spoons NK28 candy corn did the damage. I did take out the doctors and flies but never put them on. I like fishing light if possible. Spoons worked, that's what I stayed with. Would like to but I have many buds that want to take them out. Some times I just like going by myself because I like Dark to Dark days. A lot call me crazy, but I just get so into it, I forget all about time. Thanks guys. Get out there the fishing is fantastic right now.
