  1. My son and myself was out at St. Williams, strait out across the 2 cracks about a 1/4 mile and a little west of the main trial and caught about 50, biggest was 13 1/2", My other buddy caught his limit. The Big ones swam in fast and left, you were lucky to catch one.
  2. You guys playin that stuff, I'm going the other side of the lake. But just remeber when I get back there better be some beer left for me
  3. Thanks for sharing, I gots to get down there for a 2 day'er. Man after my own heart, putting in a good day of fishin. Some guys just fish for a couple hours and go home to watch Judge Judy or the Maple Leafs play Perseverance, pays off
  4. Nathin better than fishin, country music and good friends
  5. Billy go big, 2 is better than 1. especially if you like to fish Erie.
  6. Agree 100 o/o on clear ice no problem but ice with snow forget it, maybe if your a Young buck but add a few years, Dead Man Walking. I f I had to do it over, I'd go with the Clam Scout 1 man. I have the 2 man Guide and I would trade in a min.
  7. See you there uncle, Small Crappie Derby there this morning 8 am to 2 pm. $10.00 biggest Crappie takes all.
  8. Want a Kleenex Dad, Happy Birthday Cliff Birthdays don't get any better than that.
  9. Good thread Myself, the most important thing is remembering the time spent enjoying the sport with friends and by yourself remembering about times past. Catching fish is a bonus. You can do the same thing every day in the same spot and things will be different. Way points seem to be the best referent's, Lose them as Aaron states and you have to start over, but it's the memory that helps. It's nice to always catch the big ones but being on a nice school of Crappies or Perch with ultra lite tackle, joking with my Buddy's, doesn't get any better than that. I don't think you have to write down about the great times you had with your buddy Dude. You could write a diary, but when you have the chance to go fishin, you go. If I waited for the perfect day, I think my boat wouldn't see the water much. But that's just me. This is a great topic Dude.
  10. You'll be back fishin in no time, OFC is pulling for you. Be Well Dano
  11. That would be my thought. They sell yellow Perch and Walleye at Fortinos, Sobeys, Metro. Don't need a license to buy. I can see this is one of those hard to prove issues. I did reply on that other site.
  12. Wish I had a little brother or just brother. Good luck bud. Give us a report
  13. Crazy is right, but I'd like to hear the whole story. Not saying it's right, but, a human can get pushed to far, there is a braking point. I've had friends that have lost everything ex.( came home and found wife with his best friend) Some don't care, but others see red. We just hear one side sometimes. Just saying thats all. Thanks Gerritt, I'll be watching the 11 o'clock news Sad indeed.
  14. Well said Rizzo , see Mike while I was writing my reply for an hour, I missed Rizzo's
  15. I myself read just about every post but some just don't interest me like hockey etc. I find because I can't type fast, takes a lot of time for me with 1 finger. Not replying to a thread doesn't mean WE don't like reading and getting some good info. Maybe I bore people with my threads, some reply and lots don't. Coming here is a place to laugh, learn, get info, make friends, and maybe give a little info. You could be right, maybe just reply with the Thumps up emotion. But can you see how many pages we would make on every thread. Now that you made me type for an hour. You own me a good fishing tip or story
  16. Thanks Kickingfrog, you just made my day. Chris don't worry, I won't say a thing Lay down bud, let those stitches heal, then you can hit me. Your my IDOL, I just new you had it in you

  20. CW it's yours if you want it. I live in Hamilton East.
  21. Tell a fisherman anything about catching a fish on a certain lure and they'll go by a dozen. Fisherman aren't the sharpest hooks in the box. A million lures later and I talk about myself like this. Most of the fish I've caught has been on terminal tackle, plain hook and sinker with live bait. Now I wonder what lure I'm going to use You ever ask your self when you leave the boat launch and drive to the other side of the lake maybe 10 miles, and at the end of the day you get back to the launch and a kid is fishing on the dock with a big stringer of fish that's bigger and better than you caught. Don't you just love it. One of my old fishin buddys used to tell me, he did care how many more fish I caught than him. He just wanted the biggest because when we got back to the dock and people would only ask who caught the BIG ONE Good thread Garry
  22. I had a few buds that did the bungalow thing, they said it was good but it was a long 3 days siting confined in a shack, Like Cliff said could be a better idea, 1 day trips in and out and get a motel in town then your not stuck. The wife may like that better, do the out for super after. Then back out fresh the next day. Just an idea Good luck
