I don't care how hard a guy sets the hook, just be "QUIET", could be me in the other boat trying to catch a few ZZZZZZZS in between fish. Mans got to have his rest from the night before.

I refill 2 litre Pop bottles with water and freeze, then put a couple in my fish box cooler. You don't want ice melting over the fish because it makes for a slimy soup. Keep them (fish) dry, less mess. My Walleye, I bleed out in the live-well first, then in the cooler.

Fantastic report and pictures MB. I heard from a guy that fished Gar used Dacron to make his fly, their teeth get caught in the Dacron and not the hook.

Yes your right Pro, that Swap was great, met lots of people their, stayed all day to shot the crap. Some good deals, I went out with a bunch of stuff 40 LB Minkota $45.00 worked great up on Big Gull lake a few weeks ago I'll be their next year. I think they mite need a bigger place next year. The Sportsman Show died 25 years ago, since they priced everyone out of business even the spectators. I'll spend my $70.00 that will only get you in the door at the show at my local tackle shop. Going to the show used to be great back then.

Buddy got stopped on Quinte on the opener and got charged $125.00 for not having his card on him. He left it in his other boat clove box, was the wrong answer. He does have one. I haven seen any difference since they brought out the card thing. Made a few people richer

Be nice to see them rid the Kings and stock more Atlantic's, Rainbows,Cohoes. Better eating and canning. Most King's I saw was in the bush or dumpster. Their just Derby fish. Kings are like Cormorant vacuum's. The good old days when you fished with just a spoon or Fireplug. Not fighting wire,lead and flasher fly's, dragging a fish in behind a boat while still trolling. At least you got some fish Aaron, that makes for a good day for a new guy.

Thanks Chris and everyone for the kind words, I don't know what to say. It comes a time in life that it's good to give back to people that may not be so fortunate to go fishing and other. I had a father that did all for me. I guess it's a way to say thanks dad. If you know Harvey, he gives all to kids and if I can help him, I'm all in.

Drifting Walleye, it's a must when the breeze stops. I use a transom mount when everything goes still,just to get you moving.

My thought also. How does he know middle bearing, must have had it apart plus what other damage with the NO OIL thing. Plus it's a Mariner, they don't make them anymore.

You absolutely right Bob. Someone just learned a old way how to fish and called it a new name. It's just a takeoff of a Set-line commercial Cod fisherman used in the east coast,only thing they used about 100 hooks. We can only use 4 hooks legally. Fished this method for perch as a kid. Mercman, you can tie a Tube-jig on the bottom instead of a sinker then a couple snelled hooks above. Just ups your hooks because fish tend to be attracted to the sinker when bouncing on the bottom.

If your using braid, it will brake a tip pretty easy. Loosen up your drag. 100% graphite can't take it.

I'd sooner catch and eat a Cohoe, but Kings do fight better. Phx Tubes work great on Bass.

Way to go guys, looks like you had an awesome day except for the bugs. I was at Willow on Thurs. for Whities, caught my 2 but took me all day and the bugs drove me crazy. I marked tons of fish in the 73FTW area. lots of boats out. I launched at Sibbald Pt. $14.00
