I actually caught a fish this year. I traveled some 1400 km's return trip. All along the way, I kept getting the familiar feeling of knowing someone in the area. I travelled the 401 corridor and it was sort of odd, I felt that if something went wrong, one of the OFC family may happen along and give me a hand. Comforting to know, sort of. I've not always been the most favoured poster, don't get fishing much and off topic stuff gets me in trouble, along with a few brew. Thanks OFC! BB

I forgot about caviar. Thanks Geencoachdog.

I've had smoked sturgeon, worst fish I've ever had. Got it from a commercial fisher. Very coarse and greasy. Can't figure out why anyone would want to actually catch and eat this fish. Must be another use for it that I'm not aware of.

I figure there's always been two types of people, cheaters and losers. LOL.

Man, you're a real trouper! Just remember, it can always get worse. I only said that to put a perspective on things, everyone's still alive (Dog, should have died right there and then, so it would know why it died).

Last I time posted on a dog topic, I was touched up by a Mod.. Won't say anymore than, Dog is lucky to be alive. They aren't around here, if they do that.

Nice knife! My latest knifes were hand made with wood handles, maple and black walnut, from my own back yard.

Canada Puts Brakes on Electric Vehicles (NF)

Well, I'm with "Clamp-It" on this one. Make the thing meet safety standards and there would be no complaints, as it could then be sold in Canada! If it met our standards, there would be no more whinning (which alot like to do). -
Not bad deal.

Probably not far from your place, but I'll keep an eye open for it. Hope it's not been changed to ash grey in colour, by now. -
Just didn't want you to be caught off gaurd and expect there was tons of stuff to do there. It's a great place to see.

You've never been there. What's the rest of the family going to do for the week while you stand there casting? Trees are trees, water is water, beautiful sceenery is great, but it wears off pretty quick. You'll find the rest of the gang might get bored.

Old fuses will not cause buzzing. Bathrooms are very humid places, this can cause problems. Make sure power to circuit is off, I mean make absolutely sure power is off! Do you have method of checking if power is off? I hope you understand where I'm coming from. I would, after power is off, remove the switch cover and check switch wiring and look for loose wiring. If wires are stuffed into the holes and not under the screws, you'll see what I mean, the connections could be weak. Put wires under srew terminals, only after you make sure, by testing, that power to circuit is off!

Go to breaker/fuse panel and turn main disconnect "OFF", buzzing sound should go away. Aluminium wiring? Sounds like wiring may have used the simple, strip wire and push in hole thingy. Do you have any experience or knowledge of electricity?

......from the back, since it's a kicker. Couldn't resist.

Tofino, for a week, take some board games and a deck of cards.

Let nature take it's course. You even questioned the nest location. Unless it was some kids playing havock with things (shoot the kids), let it go. No tears here. Survival of the fittest, not a bad concept.

Someone expects a response from me at 7:00 pm, they better be from BC. I'm connected 24hrs a day, but only work 7.5 hrs/day. You figure it out. Oh ya, just incase you might think that an attitude like that might cause a shortage of work, I haven't missed a day of work, unless I wanted it, in the last 25 years.

It's a simple process. No deal is ever done unless, both parties are happy. Let's not hear any whinning and moanning, 6 months from now.

Noticed a couple of things. You said you built it to his specs. What does he know? You also said that you did jobs for him that you weren't happy with the result and you didn't charge him (that's the way I read it). Now comes my questions to you (not trying to upset you), but have to ask. 1.) Did you get permits and inspections on original structure? 2.) Why have you done work you weren't satisfied with? Possible outs for your problem, if it was built to code, charge him. You could discount the job and take no loss, just no profit. If you did this as a "Trunk Slammer", you'll probably have some good reason why it happened and charge him anyway. My biggest question is; Why would you do work you are not satisfied with?

Get the form, fill it out and let them decide. It's all about interpretation. They'll let you know if they accept it or not. I spent about two weeks past deadline last year trying to find my mistake (knew about what I should get for refund). Fianally just sent it in, they found my mistake, explained where I made my mistake and sent me what I was expecting to get in the first place.

If you could somehow get some upward pressure on the nut (pry somehow with screwdriver, etc) and turn at the same time, the threads on the nut may grab fresh thread on the truck. Your threads on the truck are probably screwed, so a new truck will be in order. Save yourself a bunch of time and just go get new truck now. Typing same time as Big Cliff LOL
