  1. Photoz, I'm on the Ultra High Speed plan, it includes the Security stuff. I realize that there are Whiners and Complainers, about everything, but I've only ever dealt with Sympatico. Any problem (very few) I've ever had, was actually due to errors on my end of things. The Ultra High Speed includes a wireless router, that allows me to sit out by the pool (not today) and use a laptop. My speed blows anyone on Rogers, etc., out of the water, it even surprises the Sympatico techs. It relies on your line quality and distance from the main gear. I've had Bell install new line from house to the box out back and (lucky for me) I'm less than 1000' from main stuff. There are several free sites that will give a report on your upload and download speed, I've used them to compare speed with others from To to Van.. I win every time. I figured the security package they offer was worth it, when considering conflicts, updates, etc.. I have two kids that use the Net, under my heavy hand, and I've never had problems with viruses etc. thanks to Sympatico Security (and me). Enjoy.
  2. Having an income tax plan is always a good thing. Haven't been into this for a few years, but it could make good tax benefits. Of course, if you do this, a profit will eventually expected, but there is always next year (LOL). There are lots of buisinesses, that never make a profit, you just have to be prepared for R.C..
  3. Cast-Away, nice maps. For some reason I'm not able to see them larger on this Laptop. I will wait 'till I'm home to check them out better. Would be nice to be very private, but not necessary. Thanks. Musky or Specks, good advice, something I hadn't thouht of at this point. I've had to deal with the rising water, due to wind, in the past. Thanks.
  4. Just don't leave them sitting on a cement floor, place some scrap wood underneath them. Will stop them from draining down.
  5. Cast-Away, I'm looking at trying to get a site for two large tents and a Dinning tent, distance is not a problem. Didn't want to go to far for the first time there, in an 18' Lund 150hp. Kind of figured the first trip would be an exploration type trip. Was trying stay out of any nasty winds that may occur.
  6. Castaway, thanks for the map picture. I'm not sure where I'm going to camp, yet. Thinking of coming out of Blackstone Harbour and heading north a little. Thanks for all the info, everyone.
  7. Thanks for the links and info. I'll check them out.
  8. Wayne, I'd check out the Lake thing with insurance company. It used to be that insurance was void on the lake, with a vehicle. It's been years since I've checked, or had a need. So, what I've said may not apply.
  9. Any do's and don'ts? Any campsite preferences? Booking for a May trip. OOOPPSS, how'd this get through??
  10. Good to hear things are going well, but personally, I would have opted for the $35 needle and bought a new dog, or 4. I'm truly sorry about Jack and you. Before you know it ( probably not ), I'll probably be banned for my opinion.
  11. I'm surprised more haven't noticed their intllegence before this video. Ever drive along along a road and see a crow eating road kill with another crow standing off a bit keeping watch? The crow keeping watch is the one you'll hear go, Karrr, Karrr!
  12. Wayne, You live in an area that is enriched with Scoot history. The original Scoots had the notorious problem of killing their operators. I suppose you're not affraid of a spinning prop., except for the fact that you generally sit on the opposite side. There was a book available from the Huronia Museum that is no longer on their website, I can get you the book info if needed. There is alot of people on here that probably don't know what a Scoot is. I'm sending you a picture with an email. You could post it if you'd like. A few years back, there was a feller that lives at the mouth of the Bad River (check that out on a map, they need one) that still builds custom Scoots. Brian
  13. Well, it takes alot of gear these days, just to hide a couple of beer. Nice pictures and I bet the fish tasted great!
  14. The best 6 years of my life were in high school.
